Chapter 16 - Ring Spotted

Klein POV:

"They also send me on coffee runs and my god, they all want coffee at different times. Yesterday they sent me four times in three hours. Why not just get it all together one time. This part-time job is too much. Not only do I have to work twice as hard for a job, but they also send me on these intern assignments since all their old interns returned to school." I complained to Agil who was cleaning glasses behind the counter

"I swear Klein if you don't stop complaining your gonna lose your other part-time job" He responded

"Other part-time..." I thought about it before and suddenly realized he was talking about this job. I quickly shut myself up

"That's better"

I had to do what Agil said, not only because he was my boss but also because of how he gave me the job after hearing about my problem. I was extremely grateful with him and promised myself that whatever Agil needed from me, I would provide it with the best of my ability.

I continued to clean down the tables since it was close to closing time of public use. The cafe was set up so that there were public hours for when anyone could enter and there were nighttime hours for those who reserved the space for parties or gatherings.

Agil had set up the schedule so that I and one other employee he had would work during the day time while his wife and he would work at night. I didn't mind that much about what time I worked and was just grateful to have a place to earn some extra cash.

As I continued to wipe down the table, I heard a bell ring which indicated whenever a customer entered the shop, but the shop was closed now and customers weren't allowed to enter

"Sorry, but we're clos-" I was about to tell them to kindly leave, but the people who entered were Thinker and Yulier " Oh. Hey guys, what's up"

"Hey Klein, we saw that the reserved sign was up, and we thought that we would check if the others are in, but if they aren't we can leave"

"Nah its cool man, come sit down and get a drink. The people who reserved the place aren't coming for another hour or two" Agil said to Thinker

"If you say so," Thinker said as him and Yulier sat down at the counter

Agil slid down two drink and the couple quietly drank whatever they ordered. I continued to clean down the tables and once I was finished I went behind the counter and started to take inventory.

"Don't worry about it Klein, you've done enough for today"

"You sure Agil, I'll happily do it"

"Yea don't worry, just grab a drink and sit down"

I looked over at the clock and realized that my shift was ending in half an hour and decided to listen to Agil. I grabbed a bottle of beer and headed towards one of the seats next to Thinker

"So Thinker, anything new with you"

'Nothing much really, I got invited to work with the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Telecommunications Bureau"

"What do you mean nothing, that's awesome man. Did you take the job"

"Yea I did, but I don't understand why they would want someone like me. I mean that I don't really have the qualifications to be in that line of work" He said while rubbing the back of his head
