Established by King Kernius long before creating the Knights of Snowballia, this group acted as the kingdoms military defense line for many years. However, after Xenovus laid waste to Snowballia and captured the kings granddaughter, the Patriot Monarch was ill-equipped to face him, and Xenovus eradicated most of them with the Life Destroyer.
The rest of the soldiers barely escape with their lives, laying low while fearing the return of Xenovus.
When the PM was first established, hardly anyone was interested in signing up. But with time the citizens of Snowballia joined the Patriot Monarch to serve in times of war, fighting and defending their kingdom from multiple outsiders time and time again.
The leader of the Patriot Monarch is given the rank of general, and in the event that the king, queen or any of their children aren't able to take the throne, the general of the Patriot Monarch is put in place as an acting ruler.
Prior to Knights I, the general for the Patriot Monarch was none other than Sir Hira.
But with the fall of the organization, Sir Hira ditched his rank, citing "how can one be a general, if there is no army for them to command?
Without an army to control, there is no general."
Following the reinstatement of the Patriot Monarch; Sir Hira took leadership of them once more.
Sadly, his time as general came to an end, and after the events of Knights III, Allison becomes the new general.
To enlist in the Patriot Monarch, you must be at least 16 years old to join the reserves, and at least 18 years old to join the ones who are deployed to other kingdoms outside of Snowballia.
Although Snowballia was isolated for many years, the program was revived with a goal to spread diplomatic peace across the known world.
If you sign up, basic training will last for at least a month and a half, from there you will be deployed to any of these four continents: Grenadyn, Linghun, Kenyabu, or Eustacea.
Each of these four countries have different unique features to them and have their benefits as a friend to their nation.
For instance, most of Kenyabu is abundant in Kevlaritium, an unbreakable material that is used in handcuffs, high end weaponry, etc.
They are considered third world, but some provinces within Kenyabu are quite the spectacle to visit, such as Cape Voltero, named after the electrical deity Voltero.
Eustacea is more of a tropical grassland desert mixture, and is a large island like continent, neighbored by Valothal to the east.
Eustacea is not well known to the rest of the world, but it is a neutral country during times of war.
Grenadyn, according to those who have went there is a continent that connects onto Linghun, a continent much larger with wide vast open space, and great trading venues throughout.
Grenadyn is very rich in traditional cultures, following medieval traditions throughout, filled with vast mountain ranges, beautiful architecture, and much more.
Its next door neighbor Linghun is more technologically advanced, but unlike Snowballia, which was isolated until opening up to the rest of the world, Linghun is an isolated continent which only trades with allies and nobody else.
Parts of Linghun are considered authoritarian and even communist, but theres plenty of democracy to go around as well.
If you are deployed to any of these four continents, you'll probably spend about 6 months to a year overseas.
