Xenovus: Ruler of The Netherrealm, The Demon of Angarika

(December 19th, 40 BG-18 AG)

Standing at 8'5, Xenovus was a ruthless individual who sought nothing but unlimited power.

He stands for tyranny and oppression, and no matter who stood in his way, he left a trail of destruction behind him everywhere he went.

Before this however, Xenovus was the heir to Netherean Empire as the son of his father Orias.

During his early youth, he was trained rigorously in the art of the flames by his father, who had hoped his son would carry on the legacy of his ancestors that ruled before him.

When he had reached the age of 18, he fell in love with a woman named Cilada, a resident of the Baskara Shadowland region of the Netherrealm.

During that time the two hit it off and became a couple.

When Xenovus was tasked in carrying out a scouting mission on Earth, he invited his girlfriend on the trip.

There, he had his first encounter with humans in the Faucaster region, who requested they help eradicate a threat known as the Prometheans, who specialized in archery and earthbending.

However, he noticed that the Prometheans never wanted conflict with the humans to begin with, only asking to help preserve their environment and to keep it unpolluted.

Since he teams up with their tzar, Elduin; the two species strike a diplomatic deal, which kept the humans away from the Kingdom of Nethilor.

In return, Nethilor would teach the armies of the Netherrealm their sacred art of earthbending, with Xenovus being noted by Elduin as one of the most powerful earthbenders he's ever taught.

Xenovus and Cilada eventually marry, and they have Lyra not to far into their marriage, and another son named Vega three years before the fall of Atlantis.

However, things began to change when the Atlantean race began to attack Nethilor, sparking the Atlantean-Promethean War in the process.

Orias, having partnered with the Czar of Nethilor, commands Xenovus to carry out what becomes the Atlantean Genocide, which his son was against doing. Because of this, Xenovus went to confront his father, who now set his eyes on Nethilor.

Once there, Orias beheaded Elduin, demanding that the Promethean species bow to him as their leader.

As he went mad with power, Xenovus and his wife Cilada try to reason with him, but Orias kills her in cold blood, triggering Xenovus to go into the Hellfire State.

In a bloody rage, Xenovus and Orias fight, their combined powers spread an inferno that permeated the kingdom and its surrounding areas.

In the end Xenovus emerged victorious and gravely scarred, now left to rule Angarika as a widow.

When he found Snowballia, he met King Kernius VIII, and the two of them became friends.
He served as the muscle of the Old Knights, but eventually stepped down to focus on running Angarika.

When Lyra was in her 20's, she was tasked to return to Snowballia on a diplomatic mission.

However, she falls in love with the king's son, Sir Phillip Kernius, which agitated Xenovus greatly.

He tried to break them up in hopes that he wouldn't suffer through what happened to his wife Cilada, but his daughter had a child, a half-breed named Sarah.

At the height of the kingdom's power, Xenovus created the Life Destroyer and stopped at nothing to try and destroy the land King Kernius VIII spent so much time protecting.
