I woke up to the sound of breaking glass. I looked around my room in a daze. I walked downstairs to find several plates broken and on the floor. A clown looking person stood at the mess. He looked me in the eye. His black eyes and white irises peirced my soul. My knees felt wobbly. "It wasn't Laughing Jack," he said with a smile his pointed teeth sparkled in the light coming from the window. I shook my head.
"Not Laughing Jack," I was terrified and didn't know what else to say. Someone touched my shoulder. I jumped and tears welled in my eyes. It was Toby.
"It w-was L-laughing J-j-jack," Toby said staring at the plates. He didnt have his goggles on. I guess he ran down, as I did, not thinking what he was wearing.
"No. Not Laughing Jack," the man clown thing said. He began to move away. His long arms scooted the glass away from him and he bolted to the stairs.
"W-what w-was that, thing?" I asked Toby.
"That was Laughing Jack. You'll get used to him," Toby said shrugging and picking up the glass. He threw the plates in a box and set them by the door. "Dispose of those later," he said to himself looking at his hands. Cuts covered his hands.
"Holy shit! Are you okay?" I asked seeing how much he was bleeding.
"Yeah. Dont feel a thing," he said dropping his hands to the side. I grabbed his hands.
"How?" I asked pulling him into the kitchen again. I grabbed a napkin and dabbed at the cuts.
"I dont feel pain," he shrugged and tried to pull his hand back.
"No. You helped me. Let me help you," I pulled his hand closer to me. Toby stumbled closer to me. He tripped over his foot and fell on me. I held him up. We made eye contact for a solid 12 seconds. My heart beat faster. My palms started sweating more. I was very nervous. He was only a few inches from my face. Toby turned pink and moved back a little.
"Sorry," he said looking off to the window. I turned beet red. My face felt as if it was on fire. I continue to dab his hands.
"Its ok. I'm going to need a first aid kit," I said looking at him. He was studying my face.
"Its upstairs. In the bathroom," we walked upstairs. We passed every creepypasta imaginable.
"Why is the house so full?" I asked in a hush voice still passing pastas.
"Its the dimension," he said looking out the window.
"What is that supposed to mean?" I asked as he pulled me into a bathroom.
"I can't tell you right now. Later, I promise," he pointed to the first aid kit and I put as much as I could on his hands so they still articulated.
"I'm so tired, and scared. I dont want to go back to my room," I whined to Toby as I followed him around.
"Wanna hang out with me?" Toby asked pulling me away from Smile Dog and Grinny Cat.
"But what would we do?" He shrugged.
"Get to know each other," he pulled me up the stairs past several creepypasta. "Play video games, read some books, anything," he said pulling me into his room.
"Anything?" I asked.
"Anything," he said closing the door. I sat on the floor.
"Anything," I said to myself.
"Yep, anything," he said sitting next to me.
"I cant think of anything to do," I said leaning my head on his shoulder. "I could go for a nice nap though," I yawned.
"We can take a nap," he said leaning his head on mine.
"What do you look like?" I blurted. I covered my mouth. "Oh, no. God that was so mean," I scolded myself. "I wasnt thinking. You dont have to show me. I was just thinking aloud," I face-palmed.
He laughed at me. "Its all good," he said taking his head off of my head. "I can show you," he moved in front me. "Just," he stopped himself. "Nevermind," he brought his hand up behind his ear. He unclipped something and pulled the mask away from his face. My jaw hit the floor. He was beautiful, for a guy. He was so attractive. I couldn't believe my eyes.
"Whoah," I said. He covered his mouth. He pulled the mask back over his face. "W-why do you... what?" I was trying to peice together my words. I was baffled at how attractive he was.
He shrugged. "No reason really. Makes me hide better," he put his mask back on.
We sat there staring at each other for a very long time, it felt like hours but it was probably two minutes.
"You were going to tell me why the house is so packed," I said breaking the silence.
"Something scares us so much we stay inside during the day. It even scares Slender," he said still staring at me. "I dont know what it is, but if it scares Slenderman than no one will mess with it," he laid his hand on my knee. I quickly darted my eyes to see. He pulled his hand back fast. "Sorry," he said holding his hands close to his body.
"It's ok," I said grabbing his hand and laying it on my knee.
"You still wanna take a nap?" He asked leaving his hand on my leg. I nodded. He got up and patted his bed. "You can take a nap in my bed, since you dont have one. I'm gonna go get something to eat," he said staring at my face still.
"Ok, thanks," I said. He left the room. I laid on the bed. I was tired, my head hit the pillow and I was out.

Toby's POV
I left the room. A few pastas passed me as I went down the stairs. I couldn't help but think about y/n. I've seen her before but never close up.
"Ticci," BEN said snacking my shoulder. "Hows y/n?" He asked as I got waffles.
"Good," I said turning around. He stared me dead in the eye.
"Heard L.J. gave her quite the scare this morning, and Mr. Prince Charming saved the day," he said looking at my hands. They were bandaged and you could see some blood soaking through.
"Ok. So what's that got to do with me?" I asked sitting on the couch. Clockwork was watching anime or something.
"L.J. was upset you helped her," he sat next to me.
"Why does it matter to you?" I asked shoving a waffle in my mouth.
"Cause I called dibs first," he said taking a waffle.
"Slender told ME to go get her from the human world. Not YOU," I pulled my waffles closer to me. "So if anyone called dibs first, it was me," Clockwork paused the tv.
"Can you shut the fuck up?!" Clockwork screamed. "I'm trying to watch my tv show here," she said throwing a pillow at BEN.
"Whatever," I said climbing over the couch and walking up the stairs. I opened the door y/n lay on my bed asleep. She must've been tired. She looked peaceful and happy. Must have been better than the floor. I pulled a blanket over her and set the waffles on the dresser. "She'll be hungry when she gets up," I said aloud. Leaving the room.
