Chapter 18 - Honey I'm Home!

I threw my axe at the tree. I sighed as I hit the mark again. I walked over and grabbed the axe. I pulled a small knife out of my pocket and threw it at the tree. I sighed once again for hitting the mark. It was getting boring. I fixed up both houses and practiced multiple weapons. I visited the human world very little, only when I had a bad case of blood lust. The victims were mainly homeless beggars and I didnt kill them in spectacular ways. Just a nice slit to the throat and bathed my hands in their blood. I never killed more than three people during my visits, I tried to stay lowkey.

I gave up on target practice and went to the Flawless Cabin. I pulled the curtains opened and stared at the river. I began to feel my face get hot. Tears welled in my eyes. I tore the curtains down and ran out to the river. I threw myself to the bottom. I sat on the floor and the current pushed at my back. I let it smack all my air out. I felt myself breathe in the water. My lungs began to burn. I felt my body struggle to get to the surface. I held onto a root and stayed at the bottom. I began to focus on the current hitting my back. 'Turn around,' I screamed in my mind. The current began to slow down and began to hit on my face. The current stopped hitting my back and only hit at me from the front. I smiled and let go of the root. I pushed myself to the surface and coughed out the water. The current still stayed flipped. I felt a connection to the water when I fell in a few days ago.

I didnt try much, but when I was angry I let the water take control. Letting the water take control kept me from going on another massacre. I held my hand to my throat, sure it burned after I coughed everything up and took in real air, but it was worth it.

Light shone through the curtain as I fell asleep. Tomorrow the pastas would be back. I had everything ready and I was anxious to see them again. It had been so long I forgot what half of them looked like. I slept terribly that night. I couldnt stop tossing and turning, I was too anxious to sleep. I got up and sat on the couch. I watched the sun set and waited for the fimiliar rustling in the bushes.

I stared out the window. A fimiliar buzzing began to start in my head. A smile grew on my face. Slenderman strutted in front of the window. He stopped and looked in at me. My smile grew wider.

"Y/n, it's good to see you again," he said as he teleported inside. "The others will be here soon," he walked around. "I see you have cleaned up the mansion," he inspected my work.

"I had nothing else to do in six months," I mumbled.

"I am sorry we left you. I- we did not want to risk you getting us caught. Tobias missed you," he sighed. "He would not stop talking about how he was mad we left you. He was the first one to want to leave, and we barely got there. He ran ahead of everyone when we came back."

"Really?" I asked.

"Yes," he sounded annoyed. "Speaking of Tobias, he is outside," Slenderman teleported away and Toby opened the door.

"Y-y/n!" He screamed as he dropped his stuff and ran to me. He tackled me in a hug.

"Toby!" I yelled and hug back.

"I've missed you," he said hugging me tighter. "I've missed you so much," his tone became sadder. His hug became less constricting and more of a worried hug. "I thought they got you," he whispered.

"Who?" I whispered back.

"The cops," he whispered.

"No, I havent seen them since I was in questioning," I told him.
