I woke up with sirens ringing in my head. Toby was no where to be found, and the source of the siren was no where to be found either. I walked around the house till I found someone. BEN sat on the couch in the living room. He was playing a game or something stupid on his console or something in his hands.

"Do you hear that?" I ask trying to block out the noise.

"Hear what?" He asked, almost as if he couldnt hear the screeching.

"The screaming," I told him. Then it hit me. The water. The water was screaming.

"No, no screaming," he said listening for a second. "Nothing at all," he shrugged and went back to his game.

"Wheres Toby?" I ask looking out the window.

"He left to do some things for Slender. He'll be back in a few hours," he mumbled. He then looked up to me. "Nice pajamas," I knew he was staring at me down there. I wasnt wearing shorts, and I feared he knew that. The hoodie was big enough to cover down to my mid thigh so I should be ok.

"Thanks," I mumbled and pulled downtown he hoodie. "I'm going to the river," I said opening the door.

"Jane said," he paused. "Fuck what Jane said. I'm coming with you," he got up and walked with me to the river. The screaming began to intensify as we got closer.

'Help please!' It screamed. I began to fight back tears. I dived into the water not minding the boiling temperatures. I went to the bottom to talk.

'Are you okay?' I questioned.

'Hes hurting us!' The water screamed.

'Who is?' I yelled. It was hurting me to hear them scream.

'Fire,' the water said as the screaming stopped. The water became silent. I needed air. Air or death. I called out more but no response. I pushed myself to the surface to find BEN peering over the edge.

"Oh good I thought you drowned," he chuckled at his own little pun.

"Haha very funny," I said to him. "Something is here," I said pulling myself up to the land.

"What?"

"I can talk to the water. I found out when I tried to, uh," I paused. I never fell into the river I wanted to die. The water wouldnt let me though. "Tried to get back to the mansion after I cleaned the cabin," I lied. "The water was screaming. It said Fure was hurting it."

"Fire?" He questioned sitting next to me.

"Yes, Fire," I looked down at the water. The water began to move and form a shape. Like a man, but taller, and more slender. "D-do you see that?" I stutter pointing to the molded sand.

"Is that Slender?" BEN asked looking closer too.

A face began to form and that threw out all possibilities of it being Slenderman.

"Nevermind," BEN mumbled as he watched the water form people under it.

I held my breath and threw myself into the water. 'You cant stop him,' the water said hushed.

'Him?' I questioned back.

"Darkness. He comes in any form, he could even be you, but hes not, cause you're his daughter.'

'Daughter?' I asked. 'How many fathers do I have?' I questioned to myself.

'One, and it's the Darkness.'

'So Addiction wasnt my father?' I asked.

'No, Insomnia was sleeping around with his brother, Darkness,' the water replied.
