Chapter 7 - Waffles!
"Wake up!" Jane screamed snacking me with a pillow. I opened my eyes only to see the pillow coming back down at my face.
"I'm up!" I screamed back to her. She stopped hitting me with the pillow. Toby groaned behind me.
"W-who l-l-let y-you in-n?" Toby asked pulling me closer to him.
"Myself," Jane said proudly. I rolled my eyes. "C'mon get up," she jumped up and down.
"Fine," I said pulling Toby's arms off of me.
"Noo!" Toby growled grabbing me tighter. I couldn't move.
"Sorry, boss says I cant," I tell Jane.
"I'll make him let go," she put the pillow above her head. Toby let me go. "Thougtht so," she huffed.
"You are so annoying at times," I said getting up. "There better be food. I'm starving," I said leaving the room with Jane.
"Yep theres waffles in the kitchen!" She screamed down the hall making sure Toby heard.
You could hear him fall out fo bed and run down the hall. "That boy loves waffles more than me," I laughed. Toby and I have been together for a few months now and he wont get up for me but for waffles, ther inst anything that he wont do for waffles. I rolled my eyes.
"Wheres the waffles?" Toby asked panting, leaning against the wall. Jane pointed to the microwave. I laughed at Toby, his mask was half on.
"Y/n, may I speak with you?" Slenderman asked standing behind Toby's chair. I nodded and got up. I followed Slenderman to his office. "I have been informed that your parents left town a few weeks ago," he sighed almost.
"Ok and?" I was curious if they let me go or not.
"Their home was set aflame. Your father barely got out with his life," tears welled in my eyes.
"Mom didnt make it?" I asked. I felt a pang in my chest. I fell against the wall. I started to cry. "I need to see him," I told Slenderman.
"You cant. If anyone find out we exist," I've heard this lecture multiple times.
"I know. I wont go in anything I wear to go out. I'll be careful," I said. "If i get caught I'll take my own immortal life," I knew how to get Slenderman to let me go see my parents. I've seen them once since Toby and I became an item.
"Ok. No one is to know about this visit," he scolded. I nodded. "Go now child."
I left his office and went to my room. I showered and grabbed clothes that I haven't worn to kill in. I walked onto the porch. I teleported and walked to the hospital. I grabbed an old drug dealer phone from BEN before leaving so I could call the mansion if I needed to. I called my dads number. It rang. It went to voicemail.
"This is d/n's (dads name's) cell. I wasnt able to make it to the phone, leave a message and I'll call you back," the message said. Just hearing the number was the same made my heart flutter. I left a message in hope someone will call me back. I walked to the highway. It was still fairly dark although the sun was coming up. I walked to the town I tracked the cell phone to. BEN taught me alot about that. I called the mansion.
"Hello beautiful," BEN said answering the phone.
"Really?" I asked annoyed.
"Yes. What do you need?" He asked in a really polite voice.
"Can you ask Slenderman something?" I asked standing in the forest watching the cars drive by.
"Yeah. What do you need me to ask?"
