Chapter 14 - Drowning
I stood in Slendermans office. "You didnt kill them right?" I asked. He sat t his desk shuffling through files.
"They are alive. I erased their memories of us Creepypasta and sent them to live with humans, as you wished. In a few years I will have them persuaded into killing people, then they'll be like you. Just as you requested," he put the folders into a stack and pulled out more. He shuffled through those.
"Can I visit them?" He shook his head. "You erased their memory of me, huh?" He slowly nodded. "Probably for the better," I mumbled. I didnt want them knowing I killed our family.
"Here," he placed his hand on the pile of files. "These are your cases. You know what to do," he teleported away. I sighed.
I grabbed the files and went to my room. I haven't slept in weeks my skin is paler and my bags can carry groceries. I needed sleep, but I couldnt sleep. I cant have them taken from me again. I changed and grabbed everything I needed from the files, the files became less and less thick the more missions I went on. Mainly just a photo and address and explanation. Before there were news clippings and stalker photos, maybe he moved those. I headed downstairs and walked into the kitchen.
"Hey," Jane said closing the fridge.
"Hi," I sounded meaner than intended.
"Ok," she sniffed and walked off.
"Sorry, that came off a lot meaner than what I was trying to say. I'm sorry, I'm tired," she sighed and turned around.
"You havent talked to anyone since you saved us. Why?" She sat on the counter.
I shrugged and pulled an energy drink out if the fridge. "I've been busy," I said. I opened the drink and took a sip.
"So busy you havent slept for weeks. You even pushed Toby away," she threw a peice of trash at me. "Your boyfriend."
"Look, can we talk about this later? I'm tired angry and on a mission. I'll talk to you later," I said and walked out of the house. A few creepypasta walked around the dark woods. I sighed and teleported.
I stood in front of apartments. Unit 24. I told myself. No where else. I had a tendency to wander while on missions and killing more people than ordered. I looked at all the door numbers as I passed. I reached unit 24.
I opened the door the tv was on and someone was on the couch. I looked back at the number. 24, I was right. I closed the door and stalked to the couch. A man lay on the couch his hand in his pants a bottle in the other. I rolled my eyes at the thought of what he was doing before I came. I stalked to the other rooms. I tried to open one but it wouldnt move. It wasnt locked, something was in front of it. I knocked on the door. Something began to sob.
"Shh," I said. "I'm not going to hurt you," I reassured. I looked at the photo. There was a boy and a girl circled.
"W-who are you?" The girl asked through the door.
"I- that's not important," I said. "Is your brother with you?" I asked.
"Yes," she said sniffling.
"Ok, i need you to open the door. I wont hurt you I promise. I'm here to take you away from your," I looked at the couch. "Father," I said it just as Suffer and Slenderman when they talked about the other part of me.
"O-ok," shuffling happened and the door opened. Three children were huddled on the bed. Then the older girl standing in front of me.
"There should only be two of you," I said. I looked down at the photo and only seen the girl and one of the boys. "You," I pointed to the girl. "And you," I pointed to the boy from the photo. "Where did you come from?" I asked to the other two boys.
