I felt the glimmer of sun shining on my face. The single beam of light that shined through fragmented as it expanded in the room. I struggled to open my eyes, the light hurt. Hale was still fast asleep. The sun shined beautifully on her, illuminating her tanned skin like the color of hazel. I ran my fingers through my hair, massaging my head. I was groggy and needed my morning coffee. I stumbled to put my clothes on and made my way to the kitchen. There was no coffee maker. How did these heathens operate without any coffee. I made my way back down to Hale's room, she was gone. I called out to her with no answer. Where could she be? I tried again, she called from the bathroom. I sat on the bed, my eye twitching.
"What'd you need hun?" she asked as she opened the door. She was still unclothed.
"Uh, uh just some uh coffee, I didn't see a coffee maker." I tried my best to look away.
"Oh we can go get some, the real question is why are you still dressed? We have some unfinished business." Her grin had returned. She seductively made her way to me and pulled my sweats and shirt off.
"Hale, wait are you sure you wanna do this?"
"Of course I'm sure, do you know how long you've tortured me but not doing any of this? Months I have waited. We are definitely not done yet."
She caressed my face as she kissed me, pushing me down onto the bed. I felt her heat pressed against my cold skin, warming it as she kissed my neck. She slowly made her way down my chest making sure she covered all areas with her kisses. I shuddered, and let out a gasp as she bit my side and grinned. She climbed on top of me, my heart started to race. I traced her face, her hips as they glistened in the light. She paused to study my face and smile, as she put my hand on her chest and tilted her head back. She let out a moan as she slowly slid back and forth. I closed my eyes as I felt her. The coffee could wait.
We laid in bed for hours, telling our embarrassing childhood stories, she twirled my hair and seemed to lose herself in my eyes. She brought up how she wanted to write a book and become a doctor. Her eyes blazed with passion. I couldn't help but smile the entire time. We sat in silence as she traced her finger over my veins. I watched her bite her lip. The small face expressions she would make when she poked them. I didn't want this moment to end, I wanted to live in this moment forever.
"Shoot dude coffee!" she suddenly yelled.
I smirked and laughed.
"I'm not worried about it hale, it's already 3:00 p.m."
3:00 p.m ? Wait what was I saying? Me of all people should have noticed this. We laughed and got dressed and made our way out to get coffee. Hale drove ten under, I had no conflict with her decision. The sun shinned bright and the sky was clear. All I could do was admire her sing along with her music and bounce in the seat. I was love-struck. After our coffee, we drove back to her house. She kept the car running.
"My parents are coming back early. I need to take you back tonight. Go ahead and get your stuff." she said.
I hung my head and grabbed my bag. The ride to my house was quiet. She didn't speak or say anything. None of her music played. I struggled to find the words to say. As we pulled into my driveway, she started to apologize and got out with me. We walked to my porch together and she grabbed my hand. I turned around and was greeted with a hug. She squeezed tightly as if she never wanted to let go. I held her tighter and lifted her up. Hale smiled as I set her down. She kissed me on the cheek and walked back to her car. I opened my door, dropped my bag and went upstairs to my room.
What the actually hell just happened?
