Anxiety is tough, and its always great to have things to help fight it. Here are some great things to help!! Keep in mind that these techniques don't work for everyone and every individual is different and has their own way to cope.
1. Suck on a paci or chew on a teether.
2. Vent to stuffies about what is making you upset.
3. Make little vent art, sometimes even scribbles or drawing pictures of what is making you anxious.
4. Play with toys and stuffies and act out the problem and try to find a way to solve it.
5. Have a bubble bath! Use your favourite bath toys to help relax.
6. Tell your caregiver (if you have one) what's on your mind.
7. Watch little shows.
8. Have a comfort item like a blankie or stuffie.
9. Write in a little journal and let out all your thoughts and emotions.
10. Regress!!! Sometimes just being small helps cope with anxiety
