"Oh no! No way!"
"Come on, Sokka! That's not fair!"
"You're not coming with us and that's final!"
Zumi and Sokka had been at this for quite some time. Team Avatar was heading out again and Zumi wanted to be included in their adventures. Aang and Katara were all for it, but Sokka wasn't having it.
"It's too dangerous. You are staying here!" he said pointing to the ground for emphasis.
"It can't be that dangerous if you're still here." said Mizumi crossing her arms and looking away, causing Aang and Katara to snicker behind Sokka.
"Yeah, that's great. Insult me." said Sokka sarcastically "That'll make me change my mind."
"Sokka, please." But Sokka just glared at her. "Besides, I can help! I am a healer after all."
"We already have a healer."
"Well, she is better than me at healing..." said Katara, making Sokka glare at her in turn.
"And I know earthbending! While I'm not an earthbender, I can at least teach Aang the basics." continued Mizumi.
"I do need to learn earthbending as soon as possible..." said Aang.
Sokka sighed. "I just don't want you getting hurt."
"And I won't! As long as I have the big strong Sokka protecting me!" she said trying to kiss up to him.
"That's much better." he said, remembering when she implied, he was weak.
Sokka sighed. There was no way he was winning this.
"Fine."
"Yes! Thank you, Sokka! Thank you! Thank you!" Mizumi exclaimed, hugging Sokka as tightly as she could.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm the best, I know." he said softly patting her back.

After Zumi convinced her parents to let her go and finally convinced her brother to stay (even though he argued that he was Aang's age so he should be allowed to go), it was time to head out. They left on the ships that were making their way towards the Southern Water Tribe. As they were about to take off on Appa, they were granted gifts. Katara was given water from the spirit oasis. Aang was given waterbending scrolls. And Sokka... was given a pat on the shoulder.
When Pakku finally reached Mizumi he gave her a pouch that Zumi recognized as the same type of pouch Katara carried water around in, except this one was brown with intricate blue designs. "This gift comes directly from the palace." At those words Zumi looked up at him in shock. "Chief Arnook believes Yue was planning on gifting it to you, so he thought it right for you to have it." He gave a knowing smile, "Even though we both know you don't exactly need it. But it might do you well to keep your more advanced abilities under wraps."
Zumi felt her eyes water as she looked at the pouch she now held in her hands. Even now Yue was looking out for her. "Thank you, Master Pakku", she said bowing respectfully, and then making her way towards Appa with the rest of the gang.
"Fly straight to the Earth Kingdom base to the east of here. General Fong will provide you with an escort to Omashu. There, you will be safe to begin your earthbending training with King Bumi." said Pakku.
"Appa, yip yip!" said Aang. And they were off.
"Say hi to Gran-Gran for me!" said Katara as they flew away.

"Welcome, Avatar Aang! I am General Fong, and welcome all of you great heroes! Appa, Momo, brave Sokka, the mighty Katara, the fierce Mizumi..." said the General as the kids stretched upon their arrival to the Earth Kingdom base.
