After spending the last three hours getting ready for the feast that would welcome the Southerners that had arrived earlier that day as well as announce that Yue was finally of marrying age, the two best friends were about to head out. Before leaving, Zumi stopped Yue. "I have something to give you"

"Oh you didn't have to-", Yue started when she saw the small box in Zumi's hand.

"I wanted to", Zumi giggled slightly "Now open it!"

After opening the present Yue held in her hand what was contained in it, it was a small chain that had carved semicircle that had lines that looked like waves carved on it and the word forever engraved.

"Oh Zumi..."

"Do you like it?" asked Zumi expectantly.

"I love it." said Yue and hugged the younger teen.

"I have the other half see," she said and held up her wrist showing a matching semicircle that had the word sisters on it "Together they're supposed to be the Moon and a Lake, because of our names... and they say, 'Sisters Forever' because, well, you get that part." she finished smiling sheepishly.

"It's perfect."

Zumi was sitting next to her family when Chief Arnook stood up calling everyone's attention to him.

"Tonight, we celebrate the arrival of our brother and sister from the Southern Tribe. And they have brought with them, someone very special, someone whom many of us believed disappeared from the world until now ... the Avatar!", Zumi cheered along with the rest of the crowd, "We also celebrate my daughter's sixteenth birthday. Princess Yue is now of marrying age!"

"Thank you, Father." said Yue, "May the great Ocean and Moon Spirits watch over us during these troubled times!"

"Now, Master Pakku and his students will perform!

Zumi watched longingly as a waterbending show was put on, when she couldn't take it anymore, she looked away. As she looked over to the other side of the table she saw Yue talking to the Southerner boy, who looked strangely familiar, and she giggled behind her hand; those two clearly had something. She giggled again when the boy embarrassedly put food in his mouth.

Zumi had misplaced her necklace, and it was her favorite one too. It was a small silver, rope-like string that had single charm attached to it. The charm was a water drop with a small flame on the inside.

After looking everywhere in her house for it she was now on her way to Master Yogonda's hut to see if she had lost it there.

She was at the entrance when she heard a voice that was vaguely familiar.

"If Gran-Gran was engaged, why did she leave?" it said.

"I don't know." replied Yogonda "That's always been a mystery to me. She left without saying goodbye."

"Katara?!"

"Who-Zumi?!"

The two girls were shocked as soon as they saw each other, but as soon as they got over that they ran to meet in an embrace.

"What are you doing here?!" said the girl whose name was Katara.

"I live here now. So, you're the one who came here with the Avatar? Wait, then that must mean... The boy I saw flirting with Yue was Sokka! I knew he seemed familiar!"

"You two know each other?" asked Yogonda, who was clearly surprised by the turn of events.

"We were practically born together!" said Katara.
