Chapter 20

Luke's POV

It took us so long to reach the place where Ashton and Alex was taken. And I dont know if they're still alive or not.

The troops found some guys burying a body nearby. We thought it was Alex but when we took a peek we saw it was Jasmine.

"How come she was here and now dead?" Michael whispered to us.

"I dont know...." Calum said.

The police took the three guys to the police station. Then we heard a gunshot so we immediately ran towards the area.

We saw Alex covering Ashton who's shoulder is bleeding. Then a guy aiming a gun to them.

"If i cant have you Alex then might as well hurt Ashton so terrible. Say goodbye to your dearest girlfriend Ashton." he said then pulled the trigger of the gun.

That was the most horrible scene Ive ever saw in my entire life. We were secured by the other members of the troop, I closed my eyes when I heard a gunshot.

I wish that gunshot didnt came from the guy and wont kill one of my friends.

I tried to open my eyes but afraid to see what happened. The police went to them and we just stand there.

"W-what happened?" i asked Calum and Michael.

"H-he's dead." Calum trembled.

"W-whose He?" I asked but no one answered me.

They moved out and I followed them at the area, I heard Alexisse crying terribly.

No...oh boy... It cant be Ashton.

He cant just die just like that! We need him, the band needs him, Alex needs him. Oh fuck!

I didnt notice my tears were already falling and I wipe it but it keeps on falling.

Ashton was a big brother to me, always lighting up our world with his happy personality. Well maybe he's so annoying sometimes but he's the best brother and bandmate we ever got.

How can we go through all of this? How can we make Alex surpass this incident? God, why did you put us all through this? Why do you need to take Ashton from us?

"Luke? are you okay?" Michael asked with Calum who got a confused expression.

"Luke? Why are you crying?" Alex asked as she walk towards us.

I looked at them and got confused coz they all seemed to be okay. Like can anyone explain to me why they're not crying?!

"Why are you looked like okay and nothing happened?" I asked and they looked at each other.

"Fuck! that's all you will do? After Ashton died?" I screamed angrily to them.

Then they all erupted with laughters, what the fuck?!

"What's funny?" I asked glaring at them.

"Ashton is not dead Luke! He just passed out and taken by the paramedics to give a first aid and since he lost alot of blood, they need to take him to the hospital." Alexisse stated and tapped my back.

"But you were crying terribly after the gunshot so i assumed it's Ashton." I answered calming myself.

Calum wrapped his arm on my shoulders. "Before Kevin could pull the trigger, a police anticipated him so actually Kevin died in there." he said smiling at me.

Im such a dork, stupid dork. Ugh! I thought it was Ashton. What the actual fuck really!

"Come on now, we need to take you to the hospital Miss, to check if you're okay." the police said and we walked to the car.
