It's March 15 , 2018. It's been 3 years since we first met. After holding on to my feelings for a while , I've decided to confess to my closest friend a.k.a my crush, Yeonjun. I know it's a bit weird for a girl to confess first, but today I'd say, fuck that stereotype.
I've bought a pair of black converse as a present for him, and also because I saw his black Vans is a bit worn out. I put the shoe box into a paper bag and slip a small note into the paper bag.
'Oh god , please help me this time! I won't ask for more, uhm, maybe I will but please, please and please help me this time!' I thought to myself.
I nervously walk towards his house and...
"I miss you too!" My heart sank as I saw him hugging a girl tightly. My tears fell down my cheeks. As I drop the paper bag, I saw Yeonjun and the girl turned around, facing me. "Y/n - ah!"
I turn the other way and run as fast as I could, leaving the paper bag behind. Actually I don't even know where I want to go. At some point, I stop at a playground and sit at a swing. I cried out loud because I held this feeling for a long time. Luckily, there's no other people around here.
Suddenly, I heard some footsteps near me.
"Y/n - ah, why did you run?" Yeonjun asked, panting. I tried to stand up and run but then Yeonjun caught my hand.
"Hey, what's wrong?" I turn facing him, I could see him carrying the paper bag.
"Nothing. I just..." I couldn't continue. My tears keep falling down. "Shh, it's okay. You don't have to tell me." Yeonjun hug me, patting my head.
After about 10 minutes, he then started a conversation.
"Do you want to come to my house? My sister just get back from the States." I look at him, confused.
"Sis-sister?" I asked. "Yeah, the girl that I hugged just now, she's my sister."
I felt something heavy is falling at my head. 'How could you be so stupid y/n?!' I thought to myself. I hit his chest softly.
"You could have said so! I've cried for nothing then." You said as you wiped your cheeks.
"Eh, why?" Its his turn now to be confused.
"I like you, idiot! I thought that was your girlfriend, and that's why I ran away!" I shouted, then I cover my mouth with both of my hand.
'Oh no, what have I done?' I'm so frustrated. I tried to run away from him. (again -_-")
But then he took my hand and hugged me tight. I was shocked.
"Y/n - ah, I never imagine you'll like me. I like you too!" I smiled, listening to the phrase and hugged him back.
