Sam gently held onto my waist as I kissed him feverishly, his back pressed firmly against the wall next to the entrance of the mathematics corridor. I don't know, I guess I liked him, but he was a bit too clingy. And I liked clingy...I just didn't like 'lost puppy' level clingy."Okay, we get it—lets get a move on," Caleb dragged out, tugging at the hood of my hoodie. I wasn't too invested, I pulled away from Sam and watched his bright green eyes contract from previously being dilated. His cheeks didn't return from their red color, "w-will you come over later? I-I mean it's cool if you're busy, I just—um..."
I had been 'coming over later' about six times a day for the past week since we've started even kissing, at this point it was quite obvious that Sam hadn't ever been given this much attention before and he craved it almost more than a baby. I shrugged, too nice to tell him I need space, and his soft light pink lips were so tempting every time he anxiously licked them. "I dunno. Maybe, if I have time. See you later, Sammy."
He frowned as if he didn't even want me to take another step away from him. "Er, bye, Aiden."
I briefly locked eyes with Caleb as we turned and walked away, but out of the corner of my eye I could see him still standing there watching me like an adorable abandoned dog. As soon as we were out of earshot, Caleb chuckled and shook his head. "Stop torturing that kid."
"What? I'm not torturing him, I'm just...humoring him..." He shot me a very questioning look at my adverb of choice, and I immediately took it back. "I mean, I'm not trying to be mean to him. He's cute and I liked him, but he just needed attention and he was pretty lonely, so I just..." I tried to find a word, but Caleb filled in the blank for me. "Tried to lift his spirits in the worst way possible; pretending to have feelings for him."
"You make me sound like such a villain."
"You are."
PAUSE | This book from now on will be in NB's POV | RESUME
"Your boyfriend is so hot, Nate." Tristan teased, not very discreetly pulling his eyes over Aiden Pattinson's butt as he walked by. I scowled, but it was short lived because I decided to just roll my eyes and calmly state hopefully one last time, "he's not my boyfriend. He doesn't even know me."
What was the hype about Aiden Pattinson?
Sure, he had the wealth. The charm, that everyone seemed to want more of after getting even a taste of it. The piercing blue eyes and sexily disheveled dark hair that was cut just close enough on the sides and back, like the very popular hairstyle worn by too many boys already, but he had a way of making it cute and unique for himself. The heart wrenching smile that seemed like it could cure any illness, mental or physical. The body of a male model and the firm bubble butt of a slim thick football player. I'm serious, watch pro football and look out for some booty—you'll like what you see. Like he was so hot, but so adorable.
Oh!
I mean, there's nothing to like about Aiden Pattinson.
Not even his amazing booty.
So...ugh.
"He might as well be your boyfriend, you're daydreaming of him right now." Tristan's voice pulled me from my thoughts, I blinked and focused on where my eyes were. That's when I caught Aiden and his friend Caleb heading into the Starbucks across from the main campus. God, I was even staring at him.
