NateTristan proved himself to not be as torturous and evil as I assumed he'd be. We did some things that made us realize that the four of us really were great friends (except for Aiden and me, I wouldn't call us that) and some that proved that this was definitely a double date. Aiden was careful not to be all cheesily romantic with me, and instead treated tonight just as any other night. Just...ten times better.
But our moments would always be cut short, by Caleb and Tristan wanting us to go do something as a group. I considered ditching them, but Tristan had really been looking forward to this and for once, I didn't want to be mean and leave without a second thought. I didn't forget that we were best friends, or that I was his wingman.
Eventually they had brought us to a Chinese karaoke restaurant, where they both sung, sounding somewhere near decent, but neither me or Aiden were about to do the same. In fact, we were left at our circular booth feeling glad we could be alone.
Aiden stared at them laughing about in the line before biting his lip, an action I enjoyed watching. "Let's ditch this."
I was actually quite surprised by his suggestion. I gasped dramatically, "What? Aiden Pattinson wants to do something as rude as ditching our friends and leaving them to pay for our meal? What a rebel!"
The corner of his mouth upturned humorously. "Yes, I'm a bad boy, and this bad boy would like to take his angelic date home." I scrunched my nose at Aiden ever possibly being described as a 'bad boy'. It was extremely unrealistic for his character.
"Okay, one: don't call yourself a bad boy. Two: in the future, never call me a bad boy. Three: I'm totally not angelic. And lastly: I'm totally with you, so let's go." I couldn't even blink before he leaped out of the booth, over the seat, and pulled me up with him before jumping up into my arms. I caught on and carried him out, but he shrieked when I unexpectedly broke into a sprint. My arm tightened around him and Tristan and Caleb looked over, frowned at the empty booth, but smirked when they saw me whisking Aiden away.
"Oh great, they think we're leaving to go fuck. Why is it that anytime we're alone, we have to be sexing around? I've never sexed around before meeting you!"
Aiden gave me a confused look for a second, as we slowed down. I then caught what I had just said and blushed. "I know for a fact you're not a virgin, why'd you say it that way?" He chuckled lightly, though it seemed forced like he was trying to avoid thinking of the reason I wasn't a virgin.
"Well...I don't enjoy living in the past, so I consider myself still clean as a whistle." I chuckled too, but way more nervous and awkwardly. We full on stopped then, and the confusion on his face morphed into incredulity. "You haven't had sex since..."
"I was thirteen? Nope. Not penetrative, at least," I winked, but the joke just went through one ear and out of the other, I put him down in addition. "You're saying that the night we first kissed..."
The realization hadn't hit me until right then. Holy shit, I was about to give up my consensual virginity to a guy I had only known for a mere several weeks! I mean, Aiden was cute, and really sexy when it counted, but still! But then I met his icy blue eyes, those same eyes that had the power to make me lose awareness of the world around and focus on them and them only. Why? I knew why.
"Yeah," I confirmed, before leaning down and tucking my nose into his neck, sliding my arms back around his waist. He smelled good, like expensive cologne and a hint of Chinese food, which was an oddly sexy scent. "Consider yourself special, Pattinson. If it were anyone else," I didn't even have to finish my sentence before I felt his cheek plump against mine. He was smiling, because he knew he had me.
