Love at last/ a Finntaine story

Mission

Fontaine's POV
Once Hammerhead had explained what he wanted us to do we left the room accompanied by Finn. He lead my Mom back to her cell, room whatever you want to call it. And then took me back to his.
"So what's the mission?" He asked me.
"Well" I began "Hammerhead wants something from an abandoned sub that's infested with eels and other sea creatures he wants us to see if any are poisonous then retrieve the item".
"Ok" Finn replied.
"Oh I almost forgot" I say as I give him something wrapped in pretty green wrapping paper with a red bow. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" I say loudly but not so loud anyone else could hear.
"Thanks Babe" He says happily kissing me on the cheek. He then goes to lock the door. After we sit on his bed and he opens the gift. Inside it was a box that contained a photo of us together, an emerald and a learn to play trumpet book. He chuckled when he saw the book.                                      "You remember that!" he replies shocked.                                                                                                                 "How could I forget. It was the day I realised I loved you.".   He once again pulled me in close and kissed me. It felt absolutely amazing. He held my face up to his and stared into my eyes.          "You know, green is my favourite colour" he whispered flirtatiously into my ear.  My smile grew when said this. I knew we were so young but I was sure that this relationship was going to last forever. 

     Finns POV

I stared into her emerald green eyes as she stared back into my sapphire blue ones. I kissed her lips. Her touch was so soft her body fitting perfectly into my arms. Suddenly there was a knock on my door.  I ran to open the door. "Hey, Dad.." I say cautiously. "Finn my boy so I need to talk to you" he says as he enters the room, "So... Um Finn what's she doing here?" he asks me.  "Uh I thought she'd be more likely to do what you want her to if she's in a nicer room," I say. He seems to believe me, the idiot. He left without saying another word. "So where were we" I say and we continue kissing once another. 

Kaikos POV

When I saw Finn taking Fontaine somewhere else I was worried. Even more, they were making jokes! But I trust Fontaine if there was something going on she would tell me I'm sure she would. Suddenly the door to the room I was locked in opened "It's time" a man who I didn't recognise said. He lead me out to the moon pool room where I saw Fontaine and Finn standing next to each other just talking.  "Mom!" Fontaine screamed and ran up to me and hugged me. "Hey Fontaine," I said and hugged her back. "That's enough time to get this done then you and your family can leave". Strangely Isaw Fontaine's eyes sadden and she turned to look at Finn and they smiled at one another. Fontaine and I went back to the Aronex, Fontaine got in the mimic knight and me into the swamp knight. 

Fontaines POV

When me and Mom exited the Aronex we went  to the coordinates that Hammerhead had sent us. Once we'd arrived there Mom went in first and looked for marine life once I got the all clear I followed in my knight. When we'd found what Hammerhead wanted we headed back and gave it to him. Once he had it in his hands,Finn smiled and me and I smiled back then something strange happened. Hammerhead handed the box to Finn. I watched and as Finn opened he saw what it was. It was a ring, two actually once for him and another for someone he loved. Once Hammerhead took Mom to go get ant and Dad, Finn got down on his knees and said "Fontaine, I love you and have loved you since the first time I saw you. So one day when we're older will you marry me?" My eyes filled with tears "yes" I say through clouds of tears. He places the ring on my finger and we kiss once again. We pull away once we hear people coming though. Ant, Dad and Mom got into the rover and drove off. Hammerhead and Madeline left the moon pool room. He ran over to me and kissed me, "I have to go" I said tears in my eyes as he held my face. I jumped into the mimic knight looked back at him then left. I couldn't believe it I was engaged to my true love.
