If the desert was full of water,
It would look like an ocean
With canyons and valleys- -
Where the cacti use to be,
There would be fish
Swimming the dolphins;
Where the snakes would slither,
The crabs would be crawling,
Picking the seaweed with their claws;
Where the hot sun makes the water boil,
Burning your skin
When you go in for a dip.
