My Life Changed When I met You- Xion x Roxas

Day 63

(A/N: This is just me talking haha. I usually refer to the xion x roxas pairing as "Rokushi" or just xion x roxas cause that was the only ship name I knew of them as. But! Today while looking through kh fanart, I learned that some people call it "1314" which I think is kinda cute hehe. I might start calling it that now. Anyways, enough yapping from now!)

Day 63
(Uh... is this day a weekend or a weekday? I kind of lost track... I'm going to go with a weekend.)

Roxas P.O.V

Like usual, I headed towards the hospital to visit Xion. When I got to Xion's room, I saw a girl staring at a window.

"....Xion?"

She turns around and it could be no other than the girl I knew, Xion.

"Roxas! I was waiting for you," Xion exclaimed with joy.

"Waiting for me?"

"Yeah, I woke up in a hospital bed and I wasn't allowed to get up. So, I was hoping to see you!" Xion said.

"Haha. Well, isn't it great I came then? Wait.... you're awake!!" I yelled.

"Yeah."

I felt a sigh leave my mouth. It must have been the relief I felt when I saw that Xion had been back.

"I was so worried!" I yelled.

"You didn't have to be... It's not like.. I was dying.. or anything," Xion said, though she seem to be in pain when she said these words.

"Your health is very important, Xion! Don't belittle yourself like that. Xion... please?"

"Alright, mother," Xion jokingly said, laughing. "You know... there's something I need to tell you..."

"Huh? What is it?"

".....Heh. ...Treat me to some ice cream, okay?" Xion said.

"Fine, a congratulations for waking up," I said, smiling at my friend.

Xion P.O.V

I have a secret that I can't tell anyone... in fact.. I'm afraid to tell my friends. How would they react? I.. I don't want to make them worry. But, it's something I can't hide forever..... What should I do...? I tried to supress these feelings since I was with Roxas.

I walked with Roxas up to the clock tower. Roxas bought some ice cream on the way here. We both sat together alone, on the clock tower.

"I sure did miss you. It felt off when you weren't up here with the rest of us," Roxas said.

"I'm glad to be back. Though, for me it felt like we just hung out like this yesterday," I said.

We ate our ice cream, watching the sunset, like usual. Out of nowhere, I heard something.

"Arrgh!!!" Roxas yelled loudly. He was holding onto his head, squinting his eyes.

"Roxas?? What's wrong?! Snap out it!" I yelled.

"It... it hurts."

Roxas fell onto the ground. He collapsed!

Just when I wake up, Roxas collapses on me...?

Roxas P.O.V

"Namine! Look this way!"

Snap

"I just took a photo with the two of us. Here, take this one!"

"Thanks. I'll make sure I cherish it."

"Namine, remember our promise?"

"Of courseー How could I?"

"Hehe. Promise me, you'll never forget?"

"Of course! You too."

I woke up. This place... seemed different from where I usually woke up at.

"Roxas! You woke up! Thank god," Xion yelled as she sat beside me.

"Xion?"

"Are you okay?" Xion asked.

"Now that I think about it... I'm remembering something," I said.

"What's that?"

"Namine."

Xion's eyes widened when she heard her name.

I had remembered about that girl, Namine.

Flashback~

"Hey! Stop bullying Roxas!" a girl yelled standing up for me. "...Hey are you okay? Everyone in our class are just close minded people... You should just ignore them."

"What's your name....?"

"Haha. We've been in the same class for a year by now right? You should know!" she scolded. "You better not forget this time, it's Namine!"

"When we grow really big, let's get married, okay?"

"Yeah!"

"You're moving away?! Why, Roxas?"

"....."

And there was that dream....

"I made this for you. It's a braclet." The girl says.

"Thanks, ______" I said.

"I don't want to go.. Roxas." The girl says.

"I don't want you to either" I said.

"Roxas.. promise me, you'll never forget me, okay?" The girl asked.

"I won't. Before you go, I wanted to give you this." I said  giving her a small, wooden box

The girl opens the box.

"Roxas! Is this really for me?" She starts to cry with joy.

"Of course." I say.

I remembered, that girl was... Namine. What I had handed her that day was a keychain I made. I made two matching ones.

.....Namine was my childhood friend. I felt shocked. How could I forget someone so easily?

Namine was my very first friend. She protected me from bullies. She always spent her time with me. We even made a promise as children saying we'd marry each other. Though, one day I had to move away..... And I totally forgot about her.

"...Roxas? Are you okay, do you need me to get you some water?"

"...Xion, there's something I want to talk to you about," I said.

"You're back! You were spacing out just now... Go on and tell me," Xion said.

I explained my past relationship with Namine to Xion. She also didn't get why I had forgotten such an important person to my life.

"Roxas, after hearing this... Shouldn't you apologize? You were acting like you didn't know her all this time...," Xion said.

"Y-Yeah... but the thing is... Namine disappeared suddenly," I said.

"Oh..."

"Perhaps... there's a reason to why you forgot Namine?"

(A/N: ahhh I finally thought up the story of this kind of. I had an idea on how to end this at the very start of this but I'm going to scrap it. Anywho~ The story should be going much faster now since I finally thought up the story!)
