My Life Changed When I met You- Xion x Roxas

Day 63

Roxas P.O.V

"Roxas, let's go over some things. It was awhile go but I do remember mentioning a few things," Xion said as she crossed her arms.

"Like what?"

"First off, you don't seem to like your mother," Xion said.

"How do you know that?!"

"Haha.. Axel told me actually. We exchanged our numbers recently.. Anyways, it's either that or... your twin brother you told me about before," Xion said.

"....Ah.. So why do you think these are related to Namine?" I asked.

"I'm just assuming. I don't know anything, if anything... you're the one who knows. Perhaps... you're lying to yourself about something... just kidding... that's just the feeling I get," Xion said.

"...."

"I think you'll need time to sort yourself out," Xion said. "I'll be in my room if you need anything."

I realized that I was in Xion's house the entire time. Usually I'd would be getting nervous over the idea of being at Xion's house, but... I was too concerned about other issues.

....It was about 5 years ago. My brother had gone missing. I had no clue where he had gone. My mother didn't seem to even care. I loved my mother for the longest time. But, I realized that my mother didn't care about my older brother. Unlike me, my brother had low grades in school. My mother would scold him a lot, but praise me because of my high grades. I began to have feelings that maybe... my older brother had ran away from mother.

My father.... He thought that my brother was kidnapped so he believed we should move out of the dangerous city we had been living in. They... barely took any actions when they lost their child. I was scared of my parents. It was like even if I were to disappear, they wouldn't mind.

When we moved away, I decided that I didn't want to live with my parents anymore. They... they acted nothing more than monsters without empathy. I asked my mother if I could live alone which to my suprise, she was okay with.

Perhaps, the reason why I forgot Namine... was because of this. No.. maybe I was just running away from my past...

I walked to Xion's room.

"Can... I talk to you for a bit?" I asked.

"Of course. Come inside," Xion invited me inside her room. "Have you sorted your feelings out?"

"Y-Yeah... I think so."

I told Xion everything I was thought of.

"Hm... Roxas. Namine aside, you have to face your parents. No matter what you think of them, they are your parents!" Xion encouraged.

"Wha..."

"Roxas, when was the last time you called your parents?" Xion asked.

"I... haven't talked to them ever since I began living alone," I said, ashamed.

"....That's it! Roxas, pass me your phone!" Xion yelled.

"What why?"

"I said PASS THE PHONE!" Xion looked more scarier than I had ever seen her.

"B-but"

Xion snatched my phone away from my pockets. She looked like she was trying to dial a number...

"Mm hm.. okay.. done!" Xion exclaimed.

"Done?"

"I called your mother. You have to face her," Xion said.

"I'm going to just hang up the cal-"

"No!" Xion yelled.

"What?"

Before I knew it, a heard a voice through the phone. Xion passed the phone back to me.

"R-Roxas?"

"Is this... mother..?" I asked softly.

"Roxas! You finally called me back. I'm so happy. I met your old friend Namine, recently too."

"......"

"Roxas?" I heard her sigh. "....I realized why you became so distant with me. It's because of your brother, right? I.. I'm sorry, Roxas. I was a bad mother. I wanted to talk to you but you always never answered my call. ...I divorced with your father," she said.

"...what?"

"It was awhile ago though. We did all we could to try to find your brother though. But, authorities did nothing about it! Please.. Roxas. Don't hate us...," she said.

".....okay..," I softly said, quickly hanging up.

Xion smiled at me. "You should call your parents more often. I could tell... it.. it wasn't the best conversation.. but it'll get better over time. Your relationship with your mother can mend," Xion said.

"Thanks, Xion," I said.

"No problem! You should get back home now," Xion said.

"Yeah, I should."

(A/N: Ugh! Stupid past me! Why'd I add this stuff. Now I have to deal with drama >.< I hate drama... it gets confusing after awhile too... Well, at least that's done for now... And then I'll resolve that... in the next chapter... ugh!! Past me, was it necessary to write these things??
