"I'm so nervous" my body trembles as I hug my parents goodbye. "We'll miss you kiddo" my dad says ruffling my hair then pulling me in for a hug, I'll miss his warm hugs the most. My mom was crying "I love you mom" I whisper in her ear as she cries on my shoulder. I walk over to Ollie "Bye Kayla" I hug her tight "I'm gonna cry, bye Ms. Smith" I say into her hair. "I will visit you after you get all settled" she replies. I check the time "oh... I gotta go, it's 10:45" I say my final goodbyes, wow I'm gonna miss them so much. Growing up, i did EVERYTHING with my parents, so moving off without them was going to be challenging. My best friend has continually supported me but even i knew this killed her to let me go. I need to go off and explore my world, taking my dreams and creating realties. sure there were things that i wish i could tweak, like how i wish i could grab up ollie and take her will me, but in the most dramatic way, i have to do this on my own. From a young age, photography has been my one true passion, and i was GOOD at it. i started by doing senior photo shoots, but then eventually moved up to local famous people. now as i step into the next chapter of my life, i'm TRAVELING for work, going to sold out shows, getting back stage passes, the whole nine! and none of it would have been possible without Zack. when i was 10, he was 16, at the time i was so infatuated with the way he took pictures, it inspired me to get into photography. for my 13th birthday he bought me my first camera, and it set my whole life into motion. Now here i am, on a plane to go see what New York City has to offer me.
