Another story has been finished! And man, this is a huge goal for me. I never was able to finish stories before, and now I have finished four to date. That's a huge accomplishment for me! Anyway, you all know the drill with these. I'm going to talk about where I plan to go next with this series and what you can expect out of me.
As I'm sure you noticed, I actually end this where Kingdom Hearts II ended. Which, in most fanfictions isn't done. Fear not, I have a method to my madness. Or a madness to my method, whichever works for you.
I do plan on writing a story for Dream Drop. However, this story will have almost nothing to do with Sora and Riku's Dream Drop. In fact, they don't overlap at all. Well, there are a few times I plan on mentioning what Sora and Riku are up to, but it's nothing plot important. Anyway, you may have also noticed that I didn't take out any of Organization XIV, even with a few encounters with them. That is because my Dream Drop will focus on the Heartless Organization. That's the most I will tell you, though I suppose you can guess that I will be taking them down.
While it won't overlap with Sora and Riku's story I hope to get across some similar points to what they learned over the course of their Mark of Mastery. Along with a few other plot points that I'm throwing into the story.
I am also happy to announce I will be including worlds that aren't Disney worlds. Now, if I'm doing a movie world they will be Disney. I have a few worlds lined up that have never before appeared in Kingdom Hearts, but I really wanted them in so I decided to throw them in. The other worlds I will be including are a few anime worlds. I had to be picky about what anime I included though. For the most part, the animes I chose are actually Square Enix properties. There is one exception, but it was just an idea I couldn't shake so I decided to bend the rules. Other than belonging to Square Enix, I also had to look for an ability to create a plot in the worlds, so they all ended up being some Shonen anime I had watched. At least I think they're all Shonen.
Anyway, my point is my Dream Drop is going to be pretty much entirely original. At least storyline wise. I'm a little nervous about how that's going to go honestly, but I'm sure as hell going to try. I have planning done a few chapters in and so far it seems to be going well, we'll see how it goes. I'd like to have all planning done by the time I start publishing, but I will settle for three-quarters done. I will hopefully be able to start publishing soon. I will keep you guys updated through my message board, so keep an eye on that. Fair warning, I'm starting University soon, so my time will be limited, I will still try to have a regular updating schedule, but it might become a whenever I have time sort of deal.
I really really want to thank all of you who have stuck with me this far for Yuki, X, and Y's journey. The reason I have gotten as far as I have is because of all of you. Every read means the world to me. Every vote too. And I read every comment, even if I don't reply (if that's the case I usually can't think of anything to say because I'm an awkward introvert who can't talk to people normally). And a few readers have even messaged me to ask questions or give me ideas, and while I might not use the ideas I seriously consider them all and try my damnedest to find a place to fit them in. It all means the world to me and has encouraged me to keep going. So thank you all so much! I don't have words to express what it means to me!
Ok, if you've read this entire thing, thank you again. You all are awesome and amazing people! Best of luck to you in all of your endeavors, and may your heart be your guiding key!
