part 19

Alya and navya came with a pair of clothes. Everyone went out except manik, alya and navya.

Ma: nandani go and change. ( to alya) help her out.

Manik stood up and was about to go when he felt a pull. He saw nandani holding his hand and nodding in no.

Ma: nandani I will be outside only.

Na: nhi... Manik stay with me.

Ma: alya and navya is with you.

Na: no I want you ( hugging his waist)

Al: manik you only stay with her. She needs you.

Manik nodded. Alya and navya left the room.

Ma: acha dekho, I'm here only. Jakar change Kar lo.

Nandani looked at him for few minutes and then nodded. Manik took her to washroom and stood outside only.

After few minutes nandani open the door and found manik standing their. She hugged him tightly and was shivering.

Ma: nandani ( calling her softly)

Na: hmmm ( snuggling more into him)

Manik picked her up in his arms and carried her to the bed. He made her lie down and sat beside her. Nandani kept her head on the lap, holding his thigh.

Manik can feel how much she is scared. He want to know who did this but then he don't want to make nandani more scared.

He kept patting her head softly. Nandani looked up at him. Manik smiled and kissed her forehead.

Nandani slowly drifted into sleep. Manik looked at her keenly. Her forehead had a cut mark and their were slapping marks on her cheeks which has became light now.  Her hands have nails strach all over with cut marks.

Manik closed his eyes feeling her pain. He kissed her forehead cut and carresed her face. Manik slowly kept her head on the pillow and covered her with a quilt and left the room.

Nyonika saw manik coning down and went to him.

Nyo: manik nandu Kaise h

Ma: I don't know maa, she is scared, broken ( teary eyes)

Dhr: but Kisne kiya hoga yeh

Nav: Soha

All looked at her.

Ma: maybe but I don't know.

Cab: we should ask nandani.

Ma: not know. She is still in trauma and I don't want to make her scare more.

Al: you are right. We should go to her home, maybe we could find any clue.

Ma: yeah, you are right Al....

Manik couldn't complete as he heard nandani scream. All ran towards the room. Nandani was crying hugging her knees. Manik became really worried and ran to her.

Ma: nandani Kya hua ( hugging her)

Na: mani voh phir aajayega( crying badly)

Ma: Koi nhi aayega nandani ( caressing her hairs)

Na: nhi mani voh aajayega. ( crying, hugging him more tightly)

Ma: kaun nandani.. Koi nhi h.

Na: harshad

Cab: what!!!!!! ( shouting)

Nandani start shivering more listening to his shout. Manik glared at cabir to which he mouthed a sorry. Manik kept caressing her hairs. Slowly nandani became quite and slept.

Ma: maa aap yahi rahiye.

Nyonika nodded and sat beside nandani. Manik and others went downstairs.

Cab: it's harshad ( full of hatred)

Ab: let's go and catch him.

Ma: wait guys, I feel their is something else which we don't know.

Muk: what do you mean manik

Ma: didn't you all notice nandani behavior near harshad. When nandani saw him first , she clutched my hand tightly. I asked her but she refused. Whenever harshad saw her, she became scared, silent.

Al: maybe she known harshad from past only

Ma: she knows. Nandani used to study in gandhiji collage ( imaginary name). It's one of the best collage in India then why nandani left that and came here in the middle of the session.

Cab: Tujhe kaise pta

Ma: collage papa ka h ( sarcasticly)

Cab: smart ( smiling sheepishly)

Ma: I know. ND the most important. Nandani kept parents bhout phele chale gye the toh Uske Baad Koi toh hoga jisne usse bda kiya, kahi toh voh rehti hogi. Guys their is many things we don't know.

Nav: I agree with you manik. I still felt, I have seen her somewhere.

Ma: exactly, I think we should for her to be normal.

Nyo: namik ( calling him from his room)

Manik went to his room and found nandani is up and is calling for him.

Nyo: manik she only needs you. Tumhare bina soo bhi nhi Rahi h.

Ma: maa aap jaiye, main hu

Nyonika went and manik sat beside her taking her in his embrace. He kept caressing her hairs. Nandani was snuggling into him.

Na: manik don't you wanna know about my past. Why harshad did this ( whisper)

Ma: I want to nandu but when you are ready to tell ( softly)

Na: I'm ready manik. I can't take this anymore.( teary eyes)

Ma: hmm.. ( kissing her forehead) Who is harshad to you nandani. How do you know him. ( curiously)

Na: harshad is my cousin brother.
