Hello there nice to meet you 😊! this is my first story
I hope you will enjoy it. I just love writing. And I hope I didn't make a lot of mistakes. English is not my first language. 😂

⚠️ All characters, names, places and events are pure fiction... I don't own any right to the photos, Gifs I'll uses. I will eventually insert some situations that actually happened in my life, because this book is a challenge for me... But I will tell you in the beginning of the chapter if it's the case.

So before you guys start reading I will introduce to you the characters.

*Sora Laurent, 19
Born on the 26th of April, in France.
Hobbies: Dancing, cooking and reading.
She's an introvert and super intelligent.

*Liam Black, 29
Born on the 13th of November, in Los Angel.
Hobbies: Swimming and car racing.
He's extremely stubborn and reserved but he's kind hearted.

*Sean Laurent, 25
He's the first born and like all the family he was born in France.
Overprotective brother.

*Samuel Laurent, 23
He's the second child and he's goofy.
He has a Tom and Jerry kind of relationship with his sister.

*Simon Laurent, 1
The cutest human being on heart lol 😍

*Lucy Cole, 25
She's Liam's partner.
She's possessive and delusional. But a good cop.

I always thought that I was powerful with my family, we were so close. I mean we weren't perfect. Like all families we had our ups and downs, but we sorted it out together, we struggled together, we felt our pains. We loved each other.

My family wasn't poor nor excessively rich but we never really missed anything growing up. My mom was a lawyer, the most respected woman in her field, Dad was the CEO of a shipping company. You may think that they wouldn't have time for their family but they always put us first. We are four in total. My two older brothers Sean (25), Samuel (23), me Sora (19) and my baby brother Simon (1).

This year was my first year away from home, I'm in college now and the thought of me being alone bothered them because I'm an introvert, I can't remember the last time I brought a friend home. All my old « friends » back stabbed me in high school so I had trust issues.

While I was laying down on my bed starting to fall asleep, my phone ring and it was a call from Dad I was exited!!
"Dad!! How are you?"I said with a big smile on my face.
"I'm fine love, and you? You know we miss you there!"
"I miss you too I'm coming back for the holidays."
"About that your mom and I are going to visit your grandmother next month will you like to come with us?"

My grandma lives in France and I really didn't feel like spending 8 hours on a plane.
"Dad you know that I have exams I only have one week break" I continue "I would love to but Grandma will have to wait I'm sorry papa"

"Ok sweetheart well can you at least babysit your little brother for a week and then I'll call aunt Nina when you're going back to school"
"No problem! It's been a while since I spent some time with my little monster"

My dad chuckled and then say "I have to go pumpkin... bisous je t'aime."
"love you too dad."

I spent the rest of the week Studying.

*Saturday*

My parents house was 3 hours from my condo, it was a long drive ( I'm not even exaggerating being this long in a car alone drive you crazy) I put some music to relax but I ended up doing my own concert in the car, sometimes my craziness shook me.

When I reach it was 3:30pm I was exhausted but just seeing my mom smile makes me forget I was tired! She pulled me into a bear hug, like I was away for 10 years.

"Mom! I can't breathe"
"Oh! Honey sorry I missed you so much that I could die"

I heard a voice behind her saying " don't be a drama queen Ma" it was Sean.
I urged to hug him and then I heard " I feel hurt baby sis I thought we were best buddies you should hug me first" It was Samuel.

" oh Samy don't be so dramatic, I see who takes this from mom in the family" we laughed and I hugged him.

"Where's dad?"
"He's at work he'll be there soon"
I felt something... more like someone grabbed my left leg, I was surprised, and then I realized what or exactly who it was, I lower my head and there he was my little monster the cutest baby in the world, he gave me a bright smile and I hug him.

The weekend pass by quickly. And there was Monday the day my family had to leave early to the airport. Even if it was in my worst nightmare I wouldn't imagine what was waiting for us next.
