"What? The fact you have a baby and maybe a whole family or the fact that you said to a complete stranger we were engaged?"

He looked shocked and angry but remained calm.
"I'm waiting for your explanation Mr. Black"
He looked at me and I can see the sadness through his eyes.

"I'm sorry about the fiancé thing but I don't owe you an explanation about anything else!"
His voice was cold and scary. But Sora mama ain't raise no punk! You know it! Woman up bitch.

"You said you trusted me and you asked me to trust you. I know it's not easy and I'm sorry for my outburst, but I can't keep my mouth shut for nothing... I'm sorry, I guess I'm comfortable around you... because besides my family I don't open up to anybody."

"What happened Sora?" Once again I saw pity in his eyes and I hated it!

"You already know too much, I guess we can call it a day... I'm tired! Good night Liam"
I got up and started to walk away but he started talking.

"Five years ago I met the love of my life, she was beautiful... she was the purest human being I've met, eventually we started to date"
I could already feel his pain and suddenly I felt guilty and even before listening to the rest of the story I looked at him with... pity? The thing I hate the most? No it can't be! Let him finish his story.

"We dated for three years and we decided to get married... the day came and it was the happiest day of my life! We were married for only eight months and she told me she was pregnant!" He spoke with such an empty smile and nostalgia! I almost hated myself for asking.

"I started to work less and I bought a house... this house! I wanted to build a family and giving them the best of me" tears dropped from his beautiful eyes!

"Melissa was Seventeen weeks pregnant... yes her name was Melissa and we were waiting on our baby girl. They called me that night at the station for a hit and run case, I was hesitant but she told me to go and she was fine on her own." It was becoming harder for me to breathe and listened to him! "Two hours later... I went home and she wasn't on her usual spot on the couch... I called her name but what I saw killed me in the inside. She was laying down on the last stair with blood coming off between her legs and her head"

I put my hands on my mouth trying not to let my sobs out! "Oh my God! I'm sorry Liam! I- I- I know how it feels to lose a child.." Yes I know!

He watched me with wide eyes, but he knew I didn't want to talk about it yet so he smiled softly and continue his story. "Like you can guess they didn't make it... I suspected it wasn't an accident because Melissa never use the stairs if I'm not around, but they close the case without any solid clue"

"Like you saw my neighbor is like obsessed with me so I'm trying to get her away... sorry for involving you but at least we low key find an excuse to tell everyone for the reason you're suddenly living with me" he was trying to light up the mood.

"Liam, I'm really sorry! I'm sorry for acting like a child and pushed you whilst you were uncomfortable" I started to cry like a baby

"I'm really so-" he cut me by crashing his lips on mine, I would lie if I said it was gentle. He kissed me with passion and lust. He pulled me closer and I tried to sit on his laps but we were sitting too close by the pool and we fell into it! I was surprised and I laughed but he pulled me again and I wrapped my legs around his shoulder! I felt like a feather in the water. He push me against the border and he started kissing my neck and ears... his hands were all over me and I felt the top of my bikini getting loose! I went crazy and a moan escaped my mouth with his hand on my breast...

suddenly his phone started to ring. "Answer it for me please I'm busy" I didn't recognize this side of him! He was kissing the crook of my neck when I stopped him. I froze and I handed him the phone.

Poor Liam! He went through a lot! 😪

So our girl's past is darker than we thought! 😭Sora has a lot of painful memories.
