Strings of life: Fate

A new life

I won't lie it was strange but I really liked the neighborhood! it's really warm... like home.
"it's alright we can get out now"
"Finally! Simon was impatient"
We got off the car and I took Simon with his bag but I struggled to get my bag.

"Let me help you!" He said quickly..
He took our bags and leads us to the front door of his house. He opened the door and told me to get in. It looks empty and neglected like no one was there's for a long time. I preferred the outside. I told myself it was warmer.

"I can see you're not home often..."
"Not really. I'm sorry but I called someone to clean your room this afternoon and the rest."

"I can start with the kitchen while Simon is on his chair if you don't mind, I'm hungry and he'll be hungry soon. and I assume you'll need food too"

He was looking everywhere except from me.
"Make yourself comfortable"
"Are you hungry? I'll make you a sandwich"
"Huh! No don't mind me I'll take care of myself"
I look at him for a while and wanted to laugh but I calmly say "Mr. Black you told me to make myself comfortable and that's what I'm doing" I wanted to tease him! " I guess I went to far sorry..." I pouted like a five year old. Omg! I want to laugh!
"No! I'm sorry I didn't mean to offend you" he was panicking. and I started to laugh!
"You should see your face Mr. Black I was just joking"

His face changed immediately and he was smirking "Miss Laurent you shouldn't start this little game with me" he stepped closer we were so close that my back was pressed against the island. My heart started racing he leaned forward and said "you should stop calling me Mr. Black like that"
Ok Mr Grey! Sora stop!!!

I looked right into his eyes and for a short moment I saw lust.
Oh Lord help me! Don't let my Freaky side take control.
I pushed him away and I'm sure that my face was as red as a tomato.
"I'll be in the living room" with that he left the room. It's the first time I see this part of his personality...

I gave myself a pep talk and started to make lunch. I put my plate on the table and take his plate with one hand while I lifted Simon with the other and put him on my waist.
I saw Liam sitting on the floor between his tv the coffee table and the sofa. There were a bunch of files everywhere. "Liam there's your sandwich... and I think it's better if you sit on the sofa"
"Thank you Sora"
"No problem I'll go eat and feed Simon then we'll go see our new room"

Half an hour later I went up to see our room. But there were four doors upstairs and I didn't want to bother Liam so I inspected each.
The first one was empty.
The second one was dark and I assumed it was Liam's since it was his style.

Yep! It was clearly his style!

The third bedroom shocked me... it was a nursery! I know I shouldn't go in that room so I close it as fast as I could.

The last one is surely my temporary bedroom. It was clean at you can see that he really make someone clean it. It was beautiful a mix of white and gold.

I put Simon down and start exploring the bathroom and the closet. It was huge...
"Well Simon it's our room for now! Let's take a bath"
After our bath he went to sleep and I put on whatever I found first on and went downstairs telling Liam I was about to take a nap.
When I saw him I gasped... he was sitting outside shirt unbutton with a cold beer. When  he saw me he smirked. "It's a beautiful Sunday let's go for a swim" was he really talking to me?

Ouuuuh! Things are getting interesting 😂! What do you think of the story so far? And the characters personalities?
A baby nursery? Hum interesting....
