When Liam took me home I rushed inside. All I wanted was to hold my baby brother. I saw the babysitter in the kitchen I greeted her and I saw Simon in his chair watching cartoons. He was fighting not to fall asleep. I pick him up and sit down on the sofa. I didn't realize That Liam followed me in the house until he said "Hi little guy"
"I'm sorry I didn't thanked you properly"
"No problem" he hesitated and then talked
"You have to tell me what happened in there or else I cannot help you Sora." "I don't want to talk about it now but I have to. It may help you with the case" I didn't want to tell him what happened and mostly I didn't want to see pity in his eyes but unfortunately I have to. I told him everything from the beginning to when he came to find me. I saw fury in his eyes like fire, I didn't know why he cared about me.
After a long and awkward silences the babysitter came in the living room to say goodbye. I was still holding Simon when I handed her the money and then I realize he was sleeping. I went upstairs and put him on his bed. And then I went back downstairs, my eyes met Liam's and I almost fell. A firm arm held me before I could kiss the floor. "Thanks..." I murmured. He just smile gently as a response. Wow! The sexual tension is intense. Shut up Sora!
"About your offer" I said timidly "Are you still considering it?" "Of course" he answered so fast like he stepped on fire. It was cute.
"I thought I could make it alone..." I stopped asking myself if I should continue. "But right now my mother's company has encounter some issues and my father's company as you know is under investigation" I sighed and continue " I'll take your offer but it won't be long I don't want to bother you I-" before I had the time to finish he cut me off. "Sora, I'm glad I can help you and Simon. really!" He looked at me and say " just tell me when you want to move in"
That was it? I was going to share a house with one of the sexiest man on earth? "If you don't mind this weekend will be perfect" "No I don't mind. And before I forget besides my team no one will know you're under my protection because people in my neighborhood could be really nosy and handful"
"Liam don't worry, we can say that we're relatives" I give him a big smile to rassure him. "Ok! Then I'll leave you and I have to work on the information you gave me. If you need help to pack your things call me".
Sunday morning he came pick us up and we drove for about an hour until we reach on a pretty little neighborhood. "It's cute there I like it" It was really a nice and sunny day. Simon was hot so he started crying and I was panicking because I couldn't take him the car was still moving. I think he saw my face "We'll be there soon don't worry".
"He's hot and- ah that's your house? Why is it this big for one person?" He laughed and simply said "When I bought it I thought I was going to get married and built a family but- never mind it's a boring story." For a moment I saw sadness in his eyes.
