Nightmare

Hey guys!! So last chapter was pretty emotional with some confessions. And a lot of the next chapters will be like that. I got emotional writing the last part of this chapter because it's something I really went through and I finally wanted to share it...
I didn't want to get into details yet, that's why Sora didn't get into much details.
I think just now by admitting it's something that actually happened to me makes me proud of myself... writing this part I realize that I take a big step forward and I'm starting to forgive myself. ❤️

Samuel's POV
I don't even know how many days I've spent there... it could be weeks for what I know. Sean is doing better than last night, but he's unconscious. Here I am next to him in a cold and dark basement. I don't know if it's morning, afternoon or night. I never saw mom again, I hope they only put her in a separate basement... I hope.

Sean's body started to shiver and his body was drenched in sweat. I take his shirt of whipped his body with it and put my shirt on him. I lied down next to him and closed my eyes. The image of yesterday came through my mind. It was a nightmare! I felt dirty! I wanted to die but I had to do this for Sean's sake.

I started to cry and pray for this to be over.
"If there's a God up there... please hear my prayers. You don't need to save me I just want to make sure that Mom and Sean can get out of there"

My eyes were closed but I could hear the door open and heavy footsteps started making their way to us. "I know you're not sleeping  handsome" I got goosebumps and I could feel him getting closer. My body froze because of fear.

"You know I could let you go if you weren't the same blood as this son of a bitch you got for father... and Trust me when I tell you I tortured and kill the useless who killed him! I wanted him to see his own flesh suffering. But no! one of my idiots had to kill him!! It's okay... It's okay" he laughed hysterically and continue "your bitch of a mother is the same as him so I'll make her watch you suffer begging me to stop and kill her instead, so she'll understand how I felt when..."

I opened one eye and saw him staring blankly at the ceiling. "Anyways, I wonder how she will react if I kidnapped the girl and maybe the baby too!" I jumped and sit up straight "no! Please not them! Please!!"

Sora's POV
I picked up Liam's phone for him while he was still kissing my neck.
"Officer Black we have some news about the Laurent case"
I froze and pushed Liam away and put the phone on speaker.
"Hello... Are you there sir?"
"Huh. Yes tell me what's the matter?"

I was listening carefully and hoped for a good news "We got a call from one of the kidnappers. He said he needed some from us..."
He stopped talking and he was hesitant to say the next part.
"And what's that?" Liam asked snapping at him. The poor man!
"Well sir they want to meet and talk to the girl  and only her... they said there's no point on trying to track them or sending a lot of back up with her, because I may quote "They ain't stupid" they will kill one of the hostages if she refuses "

I didn't think twice I shouted "I accept I will do it! I want to do it!" Liam icy look sent shivers down my spin. "Sora will you shut up and let me deal with that! see if there's any other solution"

I was angry at him!! "Excuse me? Boy if you don't want to-" someone's clearing his throat on the phone cut me. Ohh I'm definitely mad! I got out of the pool and went straight to my room. I could hear him talking on the phone while following me. I slammed the door and locked it! Simon started crying because he was surprised...  Oh Great!!!

"Shh shh! I'm sorry sweetie... stop crying please" I started walking around with him in my wet bathing suit. How could he talk to me like that? All I want to do is to help to get my family back and get back to my normal life.
