( I actually have two to post today oooooooh one is probably better than the other XD)

Brett awoke to Eddy's high pitched scream from across the hotel room. He sat up quickly fumbling for his glasses," What is it!? What's wrong."

" kill it, kill it!!!!" Eddy backed up as far as the backboard of the bed could go.

Brett reached over to the night stand turning the lamp quickly looking to see what needed killed. He saw the single cockroach on the floor just starting at Eddy with its black lifeless eyes tormenting the taller.

Brett knew of Eddy's phobia but honestly this was just silly," Okay calm down I'll kill it." He slid out of bed carefully grabbing at the Bible that hotels always have in the drawer as he carefully sneaks up on the bug. Eddy hides under his blanket sniffling. Brett took a deep breath counting to 3 in his head before crushing the insect with the book," It's dead" he looked back at Eddy once the deed was done.

"Are you sure... what if there's more." Eddy staid hidden under his blanket.

Brett left the Bible on the crushed insect slowly going over to the twin bed where his friend hid. He sat on the edge reaching out to Eddy," Hate to tell you but the covers wouldn't protect you from cockroaches if there were more."

Eddy looks at Brett horrified by this. Brett sighs slowly pulling him into a hug," There is no more I promise and if there are I'll protect you I promise."

" but what if they get you. Or eat you alive or something...." Eddy yawned slowly calming down as he leaned his head into Brett's shoulder. Brett smiled fondly messing with the tallers hair," Then I guess that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make for you." He smiles softly reaching over to shut the lamp off," Go back to sleep. I'll make sure you're safe."
