" I thought I told you to stay home, you're sick." Brett said softly as he took a seat by his stand partner getting ready for rehearsal

Eddy looked over at the second violin," I'm fine." He cracked a slanted smile trying to ease the worry.

" You don't look fine." Brett huffed to himself. He was indeed correct that Eddy didn't look good, his skin was becoming unsettling pale, lips chapped and shivering even though his body was radiating enough heat that Brett could feel it from where he sat.

Eddy crossed his arms with a frown slowly resting his head on the stand. Brett took this opportunity to put a hand on the tallers head to take his temperature. Just as quickly as he put his hand there he removed it," You're on fire!"

" I don't feel like I am." Eddy spoke in defiance along with a shiver. He sat up straight once again seeing that rehearsal was about to start.

Both males took their violins upon themselves to begin when told to play. This seemed to end their banter about being sick or not and all seemed to go well. The orchestra played as if it were already the performance. The way the instruments met in harmony created an eloquent sound. Then suddenly came a crash of a stand tumbling over and a thud of a body with a cry from the Viola section," Is he dead?"

Brett stood up quickly looking down at his fainted friend," No he's not dead! He's sick"

The violist seemed to sigh in disappointment," Oh"

Brett frowned as he tried to pull Eddy back up as he looked at the director," is it okay if I take him home?" The conductor of course agreed not wanting a sick violinist looking dead on the floor.

Brett sighed packing up the violins," Stubborn idiot should've stayed home" he grumbled to himself trying to figure out how he was going to manage it.

( I couldn't think of what else to put so it's definitely just a short little story , sorry, my writing brain is not wanting to work eeeeek)
