late night editing

( The fourth edition to my writing spree of domestic romance because it is cute and soft)

Brett heard his phone vibrate from within the couch cushions, he delicately pulled it out to see who texted him. The phone contact flashed across his screen 'my love, my man, my life' which was none other than Eddy.

My love: Come to bed.

Eddy smiled tiredly seeing Brett had texted back right away.
Hot Buns: It's only 2 am and I'm almost done with the video editing.

Eddy: if you were in the bedroom right now you'd hear me scoffing 'only 2am' that's late.

Brett: We've stayed up later than 2 before.

Eddy: Yeah, doing other things and certainly I was more fun for you than editing.

Brett: hmmm actually I think I'm enjoying the editing more, it's quiet compared to you ;P

Eddy: I feel offended. It's your fault I'm so loud! I was quiet before you came along.

Brett: It's fun to make you scream but I highly doubt that you were ever silent. I've heard you talk to yourself before. It's kinda creepy 0-0

Eddy: If I weren't alone I wouldn't have to talk to myself to fill the silence now would I?

Brett: Maybe you should be asleep instead of talking to yourself XD .

Eddy: I missed you too much to sleep.

Brett: Darling I am literally just in the other room.

Eddy: That's so faaaaaaaaaaaaar. It's not the same as you being in bed with me :'( .

Brett chuckled rolling his eyes," He's such a dork. It's cute." He smiled at the phone screen before replying: Come out to the living room with me. Then I won't be so far ;) you can snuggle as I edit our video for tomorrow.
The soft sound of bare feet walking across the wooden floor could soon be  heard coming near. Brett grinned," There's my lonely hedgehog. Finally come to join me."
" And here is my stubborn boyfriend who made me get out of bed so I could enjoy snuggles." Eddy giggled leaning down to kiss Brett's forehead
Brett reached up to cup the tallers face bringing him into a soft kiss," you love me though" he said once he moved their faces away and removed his hands to pat the cushion beside him," Now sit my love"
Eddy flopped down on the couch immediately snuggling into Brett's side," if you would please lift your laptop for a brief moment that would be lovely"
Brett chuckled as he lifted his computer," Who even talks like that?"
" I do, occasionally" he swung his legs over Brett's lap," You can put your computer down now" Eddy yawned with a quiet giggle, nuzzling his face into Brett's hair then inhaled deeply," You smell nice. I missed your smell."

" I was only out of the bedroom for five hours you couldn't have missed me and stop sniffing you're making it weird." Brett tried to move his head away as he laughed but Eddy just pursued inhaling deeply because he could," But your scent comforts me so even five hours can feel like hell without it."  Eddy spoke dramatically trying to be playful.

" just wear one of my hoodies to go to sleep in then instead of smelling me!" The shorter male put a hand on the tallers face trying to push him away.

The pushing didn't work it just made Eddy try to bite his hand" That wouldn't be a problem if you weren't smaller than me."

" Well you're pretty thin so it could work out fine" Brett pushed his hand in like you would do a dog to make them stop biting.

" I also have a longer torso than you, so it would ride up on me" Eddy gagged a bit moving his head back definitely not biting Brett's hand any longer.
" Showing off a little stomach never hurt anyone, you should just do it so I can feel proud and possessive that my boyfriend wears my stuff to show that you are mine but fine if you don't want to give me that pride than give me one of your hoodies so I can just rub myself all over it then give it back to you. Problem solved." The shorter wiped his slobbery hand on the other males chest seeing it was his saliva in the first place.

" You rubbing yourself on anything sounds wrong on so many different levels. You aren't allowed to touch my clothes now you filthy boy." Eddy giggled kissing Brett's jawline," But I suppose I could try and give you some of that pride occasionally."
" You're the one that turned it dirty not me!" Brett opposed with a grin but figured he won this war seeing he might get Eddy to wear some of his clothes to bed now. He turned his face back towards the computer," Now if you would excuse me I have work to do and you're a distraction"
Eddy moved his face to Brett's neck," A good distraction?" He asked innocently before peppering kisses down his lovers jugular.
" I'm starting to think you had another reason for wanting me to come to bed" Brett raised an eyebrow without paying mind to Eddy's actions ," You're always a good distraction."
" I guess you'll never know my intents because you never came to bed." the boy grinned smugly as if an imp or devil.
Brett smiled with a soft chuckle," Snuggles are just as good though. Why don't you try to sleep now."

( maybe I should do a chapter where Brett asks Eddy why he made his contact name "Hot Buns" . I had a lot of fun with this chapter since they can be so sarcastic yet loving at the same time)
