IF YOU LISTENED CLOSELY, THEIR BREATHS WERE ALL SYNCED. Kiyose had decided to time their runs that morning. Even though they all started at the same time, their times weren't guaranteed to be the same.
"There's no need to go crazy just because I'm timing you." Kiyose reminded. "I just want to plan our future practices. That's why I'm timing your run."
Kakeru, undoubtedly, was the one who took the lead of the run again. Yukari followed, with Jota and Joji tailing behind her. Hana tried following Kakeru on her bike, only to be left behind at her fastest speed, following Yukari instead. Hana's effort was put to waste as she found Yukari slowly maintaining distance from her, she ended up synchronising with the twins's speed instead. Behind the twins ran Shindo, Musa, Yuki, Nico-chan, King, and lastly, Prince accompanied by Kiyose.
They soon all gathered at Tamagawa River (except for Prince and Kiyose) , with Hana writing down all times of their run, accompanied by Kakeru and Yukari by her side. King had also volunteered to help, trying is best to look helpful. The rest of the group sat in a half circle facing towards Kakeru, Hana, Yukari, and King.
"Is that Haiji's girlfriend?" Yuki asked, glaring at Hana from the distance.
"The details are unclear." Shindo, who sat beside Yuki answered.
"Being forced to run is already a human right violation, and now he's showing off his girlfriend?" Yuki grumbled, "Just how much does he intend to toy with us?"
"But it's clear now that King has some hidden potential." Musa replied, shifting their attention to King.
"It's sad, though." Yuki replied, as they watched King trying his best to impress the young girl.
"Yeah, no matter how you look at it."
After Kiyose and Prince finally arrived, in addition they finished writing their times, Hana then excused herself because she had to go to school. The boys waved her off happily, while Yukari still focused on her notepad thinking seriously.
"Well, I wasn't lying was I?" Kiyose said from behind them after Hana rode off, the boys looked towards Kiyose curiously.
"What do you mean?"
"The girl." Kiyose smiled, making the twins gasp in realisation. "Work hard and women will approach you, It only took three days. If you keep getting stronger and attract more attention..."
The twins grabbed one of Kiyose's hand each, and suddenly apologised "Haiji-san, we're truly sorry. We doubted you. We thought you were tricking us. But it was true!" Making Kiyose smile.
