YUKARI DIDN'T UNDERSTAND A THING JOJI WAS SAYING, SHE DIDN'T BELIEVE IT, SHE DIDN'T WANT TO BELIEVE IT. The peaceful night had suddenly turned into a confession, Joji's confession. Between the confesser and the confessed, nobody dared to speak a word to eachother.

"I've seen how you look at Kakeru." Jota spoke up, he quickly glanced at Yukari. "It's the 'I like you but I don't want to admit it' type."

"I don't get it." Yukari gripped the rusted chains holding the swing up tighter, she fixed her eyes on the ground.

"How many times do I have to say it?" Joji raised his tone as he jumped down from the dome to face Yukari. "I like you."

"I d-don't understand."

"I LIKE YOU!"

"I don't-"

"I LIKE-LIKE YOU!"

"I-I"

"LOOK AT ME!" Joji snapped, he grabbed Yukari's chin and pulled it up harshly to make her look at him. "I... love you." he confessed with all his heart. Joji looked deeply into Yukari's eyes, but there was no sign of the same emotion that he felt towards her.

Yukari slapped Joji's hand away from her face, refusing to look at Joji in the eyes. "I'm sorry." she apologized quietly, Yukari abruptively stood up from the swing she sat on; she wanted to get of there asap. Before Yukari could walk off far, Joji quickly grabbed her hand.

"Leave me alone, Joji!" Yukari spat, as she released Joji's grip from her wrist. "I'm sorry... I just don't feel a connection between us. I only see you as... a friend."

"Yuka-chan, wait-"

"Joji, that's enough." Jota stopped his twin, blocking him from reaching out to Yukari. He stretched his arms out in a protective manner, preparing to stop Joji from reaching out to Yukari again.

"But-"

"Jojiro." Jota warned as he glared at his twin brother sharply; Joji flinched, surprised by how his brother called him using his full name. "Respect her decision."

"R-right..."

Jota glanced at him one last time as he quickly grabbed Yukari's groceries that she left, before running after Yukari who was almost out of his sight; leaving Joji by himself. Joji smiled sadly,

After all, he was rejected by his first crush.

The Aotake members gathered in the dining room to have their dinner, oblivious of the event that happened between Yukari and Joji. Yukari decided to keep it a secret, but most of them could notice that she was a lot quieter than usual. Joji didn't seem like he wanted to talk about either. As usual, Yukari sat in between Shindo and Musa.
