Knowing that his static monster of a nemesis was in town, Darkiplier had Google locate the hotel Jack was staying at, and calmly waited nearby. As Jack arrived and went inside, Dark made his way forward, looking around until he saw it. Flashes of light coming from the alley beside the hotel, in a familiar pattern. Leaning in the entryway to the alley, Dark smirked, watching Anti pace, glitching intensely as he waited for Jack to come and give him a room number.

Jack wasn't a fan of Anti tagging along, but he wasn't much happier with the glitch wreaking havoc at home, or perhaps worse, following on his own. So, he made travel arrangements for Anti, helped him get through security and got him his own hotel room in hopes that the glitch would stay out of his hair for the most part.

"Antisepticeye." Dark grinned, trying to hold a warm tone in his voice, though he wasn't very successful.

Anti turned to him with a hiss. "What are YOU doing here?" The creature growled, lunging forward.

Dark watched, waiting until Anti had finished and then cleared his throat, adjusting his tie. "Relax. I am here seeking a truce."

"A truce?" Anti giggled, walking forward, leaving impressions of past expressions that hung in the air.

"Do you need me to define the word?" Dark smirked. He knew that taking jabs at the creature wouldn't further his cause here, but he simply couldn't resist.

Anti rolled his eyes. "Are. You. Mocking. Me?" He snarled through gritted teeth.

Dark ignored the question, placing his hands behind his back, and sighed. "So, a truce?"

"No!" Anti growled. "Not in ten thousand years! Starting to get scared... are ya?", he giggled.

Dark shook his head. "Of course not. I just thought it might be more pleasant for us to be allies. Have it... your way." With that, the dark entity left, mildly aggravated that the creature hadn't taken the bait. It should have been that simple. He would find another way of course, but he was still frustrated by the failure.

Anti watched him go, more than a little confused now. It was such a strange encounter.

By the following morning, Anti found himself at Darkiplier's apartment door, hesitantly knocking. As the door slipped open a crack, Dark looked Anti over. "If you have come for an ambush, you are not to knock." He grunted.

Rolling his eyes, Anti took a deep breath. "You still want a truce? Ya fucking stuffed suit." He grumbled.

Dark suddenly grinned, opening the door wide. "You have come to accept my offer?"

"I guess." Anti shifted, narrowing his eyes. "Why... do you even want a truce?" The glitch twitched around, pulled by his body flickering between realities. "Some people... might say uh..." Anti chuckled. "You're going soft."

It was an opening. Dark cracked his neck, letting the idea hang in the air a moment as he kept a close eye on the glitch. "Perhaps I have gone a little soft for you."

Anti's eyes widened. He hadn't quite expected that response. "What?" He grunted.

Dark stepped back, motioning him in. "Do come in..."

Anti slowly walked into the apartment, hesitant and suspicious. His form glitched wildly as his eyes darted around, taking in as much of Dark's apartment as he could. Dark attempted to close the door softly, but the click of the lock had Anti turn back swiftly, with a growl.

Dark chuckled. "Jumpy." He teased, crossing the room and sat down on his couch. It was a risk, turning his back on Antisepticeye, but one did not gain trust without first appearing to give it. He sat, merely waiting, as Anti explored the apartment a little, keeping a close eye on Darkiplier.
