I woke up early and excited. It was 6am, our flight left at 10am. It meant I had time to shower, check everything and eat.

Shawn was still asleep, laying on his stomach. His hair messy from last night, but also slightly from him sleeping. The duvet was on top of his waist, showing his back muscles tensing and relaxing. He always looked so perfect.

Reaching up, I entangled my hands in his hair, brushing it out of his eyes. He loved this. Shawn loved waking up to my hand in his hair, or my fingers drawing patterns on his back. I loved watching him wake up. Watching him wake up and be relaxed.

Except this morning, he didn't open his eyes slowly, adjusting to the light. He opened them fast. He didn't need to think what day it was, as he shot up out of bed, a smile upon his face.

Turning towards me, he pulled me into a hug, kissing my forehead. I could tell he was just as excited as I was. Maybe even more.

I still didn't know where we were going. He never told me.

Dragging me into the bathroom he switched the shower on, wrapping his arms around my waist waiting for it to heat up.

We were now in the taxi, after double checking that we had everything. I didn't want to forget anything. After all, we wouldn't have been able to go back and get it.

We arrived at the airport at 8:30, we checked in, got some snacks and a cup of coffee.

I wasn't sure how I was supposed to feel about going away with Shawn. I did want to, but I wasn't sure if it was a good idea. After all, he did beat me not too long ago.

Putting the thoughts to the back of my head, I looked up at Shawn, seeing his slight stubble and curly hair. He looked so hot. I knew it wouldn't be long until he would shave and get his hair cut, but for now, I'd be used to it.

Time went by quickly, and our flight was called. I wasn't paying attention but Shawn was, and pulled me up.

He wrapped his arm around my waist and guided me to the doors for the plane. He showed the air hostess our tickets and we were led to our seats.

We were in first class, which meant no screaming babies, no crowded seats, and no weird smells. It mean to I could sleep peacefully.

The air hostess told us the same thing that everyone else gets told. How to be safe etc etc. But then we took off. The sky was so blue, maybe it was just because we were higher I'm not sure, but it was beautiful.

Shawn placed his hands on my thigh, gripping it tightly whilst putting a blanket on me.

"Go to sleep baby, it's a 10 hour flight," he told me, kissing my head.

That's all he needed to say to make me rest my head upon his shoulder and close my eyes. Slowly drifting away.

Before the flight ended, I was gently woken up, we had about four hours left.

"Hey, I didn't mean to wake you, just, the view is perfect for this." He said looking outside, my eyes following his.

"I've been wanting to do this for a long time, but now is perfect. No, I wasn't the best boyfriend, I know that now. But I don't want to live a life without you. Never. Your the love of my life, and I should have never treated you like that. The first day I met you, I knew you were the one. God, why was I so stupid?! I just, I can't talk anymore about how much you mean to me, I've not got enough words to speak it, or enough air to breathe to show you. You are the love of my life, you always will be. Please. I can't live without you. I need to know n can you spend the rest of your life like me, just like I can with you? Will you do me the honours of becoming my wife?"

I couldn't say a word. I was speechless. All I could do was nod, smile and hug him.

I was finally marrying the love of my life.

The end! Thank you so much guys! Thank you for staying patient with me! And thank you for the 1.12k reads!!
