Part Two
I pulled back my fist, and punched him.
"Ow! What the hell, Elena?" He groaned, setting his nose back into joint.
"What the hell, Damon? You think that you can be gone this whole time, and just appear at school and act like you never left? I'm not stupid, and I'm not being sucked into your world again. I don't like you, I don't want you, and you and me are never going to happen again. Got that?"
"Elena, you and I both know that's not true. You want me, and you and me are going to happen again, because you still love me."
"Answer this then, and we'll see. Do you, Damon Salvatore, love me?"
I narrowed my eyes at his silence.
"I don't want you, Damon. Get over it quicker than you got over Katherine. I don't want you moping around my grave 140 something years from now." I said, walking away.
I felt his gaze on my back, but ignored it, and even ignored him calling me. I would have turned around a year ago, and ran back into his eagerly awaiting arms, but not now. If he wanted me back it was going to take a miracle for me to find it in me to forgive him.
Bonnie raised an eyebrow at me when I climbed into her car. a frown on my face.
"What did the bloodsucker want?" She asked.
"He has unfinished business to take care of, and he wants me back." I said, avoiding her eyes.
"And?" She pressed.
"And nothing. I wouldn't take him back, even if he was the last guy alive on this planet."
"I hate to say this but, what with him being immortal and all, he'll probably be the last man alive on the planet." Bonnie joked, flinching as I playfully smacked her arm.
"Can we just forget about the eternal douche, and go home? And can you stay round tonight? It's Friday, and I want you and Care with me. Especially if he decides to come knocking," I sigh, then smack the palm of my hand hard against my forhead. "He can still get in! He's been invited in for eternity!"
"Not if you don't want him to. I know a spell that will bar him from entering you house."
I grin at the witch in the driver's seat, and she gave me a reassuring smile.
"I'll call Caroline, and we'll go straight to my place. You have got your grimoire right?" I question.
"Yeah, but tell Caroline to be at your place for four instead of now. I'll need time to actually do the spell before she arrives and gets all weird on me. You know how much she hates it when I do my 'voodoo' in front of her." Bonnie sighs, pulling out of the car lot. I watch as we drive past the familiar streets, and I smile at the scenes. I missed this part of being in a car. Ever since my parents accident, I had never really enjoyed being in a car. Driving still was a difficult thing for me, but I missed sitting in the passenger seat and just looking out the window and watching the Mystic Falls residents living their everyday lives. It just put everything I went through last year into perspective. Even though vampires and witches exist, and although the 'animal attacks' will always be a sorespot for the town, the people who stay will always remain and pick up the pieces. It's one of the reasons I love Mystic Falls; nothing can take this town down.

"You know, Jer, just because I'm tolerant of your relationship with my best friend, does not mean I'm happy with you flaunting it in front of us." I sigh, as Caroline, Bonnie and I catch my little brother, Jeremy, and my other best friend, Vicki Donovan (Matt's older sister), making out on the couch.
