OMNISCIENT.

The base boomed as Mykah led Zion by hand into that of a private party one of her old friends invited her to. "Is this really the place you brought me, after reuniting with me at a party?"

"Bitch don't come at me, you're lucky I brought you, you might enjoy yourself." She enlightened him as she went through a crowded hallway seeing the many sections this party held. "Well excuse me." He mumbled under his breath

"Do you want something to drink?" She asked as she stopped in front of the entrance of the room. "Get me a water," he began looking down at her as she nodded doing as requested.

"I can tell this is going to be a long ass night." He murmured. He observed the party from the open kitchen realizing he was a lot more affiliated with the party than he expected.

"Is that Elijah– is that Gio?" He spoke to himself as he seen the two conversing at a table over a game of spades. Just a few months prior he had cut the two, along with Elijah's twin brother, from his circle of friends. He felt he was being milked for views and he didn't like the idea of it; at all.

"Yes, those are two niggas you've cut off." Mykah said as she handed him his water and nodded. "How you know?" He asked.

"The look you have, it's the same look you gave me, but you look stale faced, like it's not meant for you to talk to them." She spoke swiftly as she mixed her own drink.

"Mind your business." He spoke looking down at her before she returned his gaze looking up at him.

"Suck my dick."

As the party progressed the two had decided to mingle through a bit more. In just a few minutes she was whisked away into a crowd of addicts that she called her friends. In that section of the house there were about seven people passed out, a few passing a midget, while one rolled a few more, and a few people taking Xanax while Mykah overseen them, laughing at a joke made.

From the outside in Zion was horrified at what he seen. His vision held bad influences holding a valuable part of him with care waiting to crush her. It was quite evident she wasn't the one taking the drugs, but the fact that she around them made him worried.

"Is your friend just going to stand there and stare or what?" A girl asked as she thinned her coke line of a dvd box.

"Nah, he's probably trying to figure out how to ask if he can take first hit from the new blunt." She laughed snapping him out of his trance.

"Mykah, shut up!" He voice rose as she snickered at his evident discomfort. "It's okay you big baby, just get it, fool." So he did, with the permission of her friends. He began talking to the group and realized just as quickly as he thought, that they were nothing short of a deathly good time and one mistake could end up with her dead.

Zion didn't want to invade, but he did want to talk to her about it, and he made sure to remember to some other time, he didn't want to ruin what they had going on now. He missed the time he spent with her when he left so this was something he feigned for, for a while and he wasn't going to ruin it because of some bad decisions.

The two had partied a bit more before making their way outside. She wasn't intoxicated but she wasn't sober, more so buzzed than anything. Zion hadn't let a sip of alcohol touch his lips but he did however hit once or twice.

Now the two sat in the backyard of an old friends yard watching the stars as they buzzed in each other's company's. A soft silence lingered between the two; a comforting silence.

Zion didn't like silence though so he changed it. "What are you thinking about, Ky?" He asked as he fiddled with the ends of her hair she had straightened for the hell of it.

It took her a moment to answer, like she was gathering her thoughts. She had been contemplating bringing this up, she just didn't know when. "Why did you leave?" She asked.

"From Ottawa?" He inquires as his eyes connected with hers only for her to nod in response.

"More opportunities here, I didn't see myself moving forward there." He spoke with a sense of monotone.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"I did."

"In a text the day of, fool." She rolled her eyes before she lost eye contact. "You half breeds see money and act like you can't return a text or let a girl know you're okay."

"I was worried about you, Caleb." She truthfully spoke letting what had been on her mind go. "I was happy for you but I was mad all the same, because I wouldn't have done you like you did me."

"What do you mean, Mykah?"

"Bitch, you know exactly what I mean, you abandoned me for some fame, and what? You're still a flop." She said as she sat up to look down at him.

"Well what was I supposed to do? I couldn't just let you piggy back off of me for my whole life. I had to do for me too, Ky." A sternness enclosed itself in his voice causing her to do the same with her reply.

"One, shut the fuck up, I didn't piggy back off of shit, your over grown ass wouldn't leave me alone. You chased every bitch in Ottawa, yet you couldn't chase a grade, a job, or this music career you have unless I made you."

"Okay and? What did you want? A medal?" He asked an array of questions trying to find the point of this. "Did you expect me to make you my art or something"

"No nigga, I just wanted to be there for you, that's all. I wanted some reassurance that I still had at least a friend in you but I wasn't certain I had that so I let you go. When you stopped answering I stopped calling, when you didn't bother texting, I left you alone. When you stopped liking, I unfollowed. I can only take what you give me and you can only receive what you want. I can't make you do anything for me nor yourself."

He took what she said in and realized he had left her, but he wouldn't admit that, he was too prideful.

"So what does this mean for us now?" He asked her as he contemplated her next moves. It could go either one of two ways with Mykah, she could go off or she could comply; he just wasn't sure which. She looked up as she thought before she sighed, "we can start over? If you're not too pussy to, Caleb."

This caused him to laugh as he nodded. "I'd like that–and you're the only pussy here."

His reply caused her to laugh before she looked down at him. "Boy please, you're pussier than the one you came out of."

"That's mean."

"Well that's not my damn problem–" She spoke before she was cut off by the sound of her name being called catching both of their attentions.

"Mykah! Baby, where are you?" A male voice boomed through the air of the backyard.

"I'm back here, Derek." She yelled lowly, yet high enough to where you could clearly hear her.

"Who is that?" Zion asked.

"My boyfriend, Derek."
