Does it Even Matter

It starts with one

No matter how hard it is to try,

sinking in this sickening,

watch the time,

it's flying right out this time,

and now I'm actually going to try,

Despite the way you were mocking me,

and things aren't the way they were before,

and everything just fell apart,

you wouldn't even recognize me anymore,

not that you even knew me before.

Too much trust was put in you,

and for all of this, there is nothing you should know but

I trusted you.

And I tried too hard, and got so far,

but does it matter?

And I lost it all,
