I'm Tired

"I know that I am not in the position to intervene and I'm sorry that I had to do this, it's probably making you uncomfortable but I really have to talk to you about your situation with Tae. I'm your hyung after all, and heaven knows how much I love both of you." Namjoon said, making Jimin smile. If there's one thing that he will be forever thankful of, it's how faith has given him five older brothers the moment he decided to chase his dream as an idol.

"It's okay hyung, I think I could use a good company right now."

"You have been avoiding Taehyung these past few days and I can see that he is miserable."

"Is he? I don't see that though." Jimin answered while staring at the ceiling lying on the bed like a starfish.

"Yes, he is. Maybe you opted not to look, that's why you can't see, Chim. Now, how can I help?"

Jimin doesn't know how he feels exactly at the moment. Part of him wants to run back to Taehyung but part of him is also holding back, remembering if he does so, it will just be another cycle like a fucking circle. Never ending.

"I'm tired. I'm very tired, hyung." Jimin closed his eyes to prevent the tears from falling.

"What are you tired of Jimin?" The older man asked.

"Everything. I'm tired of how I am being treated, disregarded, and always being the bigger person. I'm losing myself trying to hold on from Tae. We live in one apartment and you all know the things that I had to bottle up with me. Looking back, I didn't even know how I lasted this long."

"Don't you love him anymore? Is it because of Kai?" Namjoon asked without any hint of prejudice and Jimin knows it.

"It would have been easier if I don't love him anymore. I wish I could say that I don't love him but I do, hyung— I really do. Kai has nothing to do with what's happening between me and Tae. He just miraculously texted me when things weren't going well and honestly, I am thankful that he still sees me as a friend although I didn't return his affection towards me. He is giving me the distraction that I badly needed right now. We are also catching up, he's a good friend."

"I believe you, Jimin. However, please talk to Taehyung. God, it pains us to see you two like this. There's nothing that a communication can't fix, Jimin-ah" Namjoon hugged Jimin like a koala bear and that was his turning point to cry hard.
