TAEHYUNG'S POV

"M-Mom I'm just gonna vi-visit Loriel okay?" I yelled putting on my shoes.

"Haven't you seen her yesterday? AWW MY CUTE TAEHYUNGIE IS IN-LOVE!!!" I cringed at this. Mom was cooking breakfast in the kitchen, but her squealing is still too loud that I'm almost embarrassed at the thought that our neighbors would hear it.

I patted my pants, said my goodbye,  and left home. On my way to Loriel's house I happen to see a flower shop. I grinned to myself. She didn't know I was coming this early, but I wanted to surprise her since she was sulking and all yesterday.

"Uhm... Hi-Hi! Would y-you happen to have some T-Tulips and daffodils?" I asked softly towards the kind looking woman.

"Oh yes!" She exclaimed. "Are you giving it to someone special?" She asked smiling sweetly. I blushed, but nodded in response.

"Aigooo~ Young love!" She cooed. "I hope you kids will turn out fine." She told me in all sincerity and gave me the flowers. I was about to give her the payment, but she then refused leaving me confused as to why she wouldn't take it.

"Keep it young man. You're my first costumer today so think of it as gift okay?" The old woman told me, making me smile and bow a couple of times in happiness. She giggled as I gleefully waved her goodbye.

I was so excited to give her thess flowers so I ran hard, of course careful not to damage the bouquet. By the time I made it in front their house I was panting hard. Gosh why did I even run?!

Gaining normal breathing, I walked toward the front door. Taking a deep breath, I raised my hand about to knock when I heard a voice called out.

"Hey what are you doing?" The woman said. I turned around and saw a woman standing there with confused expression.

"Oh I'm about su-surprise my girlfriend. I'm not a b-bad guy." I assured her, yet she frowned harder.

"What?" She let out. "You mean Loriel?" She asked. I nodded. Her expression changed into concern.

"She didn't tell you?" She added. "T-Tell me what?" I replied. The woman sighed and spoke solemnly.

"Their family left just yesterday evening." She stated. I felt my heart crash down that moment, all excitement washed away.

"W-What d-do y-you mean?" I asked, stuttering even more.

"Her brother went home yesterday and took their things to leave. I don't know where they would be going, but from what I can tell they aren't coming back. The brother sold this house to their friend." She explained. My hand fell at my side and I let the bouquet fall to the ground.

I couldn't believe what I've been hearing. She left without telling me. She didn't even say goodbye.

I wanted to feel mad, but I can't. The feeling that goes out the surface was the feeling of regret.

~Flashback~

Loriel laid her head on my shoulder and played with my hand, tracing comforting circles on it with her thumb. "I don't really want to go home." She sighed. I held her hand and kissed the top of her head.

"I can vi-visit you tomorrow o-okay? For now rest home." I answered back, trying to comfort her.

"I'll miss you." She whispered. "To-Tomorrow's not that long, bu-but yeah I'll mi-miss you too cupcake." I grinned.

She moved back a bit to look at me with those weary eyes. And spoke softly.

"Promise me something." She started. "Sure a-anything for you c-cupcake." She smiled a bit at the endearment.

"You'll get through your speech deficiency." She added with a serious voice. I was a bit hestitant to answer, not because I don't want to but because something inside tells me that there's more to the promise that I had to know. But trusting on her, I answered. "I will. I p-promise."

~End of Flashback~

I should have known. From the way she acted, from the way she gets too emotional at simple gestures, from the way she let out words that didn't make sense, but now comes clear to my head. She didn't tell me because she herself didn't want to leave.

I plopped down at their doorstep looking at my hands, imagining her hand would warm them up by holding onto it, but nothing.

"I wish I could help you and tell you where they are, but I don't have any idea where did they go. I'm sorry kid." She muttered lowly, eyes filled with symphathy. A lone tear fell down my face.

How can a day be so wrong after being started with a beautiful one? I just wanted to see her happy face again, I wanted to be the cause of it. But, what now? I don't even know where she have gone. Is that why she's been in a bad state after the phone call, was that her brother calling? From what I can remember she and her stepbrother are close, they don't argue and treated each other like real siblings.

I sat down the doorsteps and looked at the flowers I was about to give her. My eyes started tearing up at the thought that I might not see her again, muffled sobs left my lips as more memories of us filled my mind.

I grown attached to her that I see myself with her presence everyday. She helped me a lot in my problems without any complain. She was my home, and I was hers.

If I could just have one day, would I be able to make things right? Probably. But our time isn't in my hands. If we're meant to be with each other, I know we'll meet again.

"I love you Loriel." I whispered quietly like a prayer.

I stood up and left the flowers on the doorstep, breathing heavily before taking steps away from the house.

I tried to wipe my tears, but nothing seemed to make them stop. At the corner of my eye I can still see her neighbor looking at me with pity. I don't need it though, but I probably looked awful crying my eyes out.

I heard a door swung open and a gasp.

"WHO THE HECK LEFT THESE BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS HERE THEY MUST BE INSANE-- Taehyung???" A man's voice yelled. I flinched and looked back, eyes widening a bit as I saw who it was.

"S-Seokjin hyung?"
