TAEHYUNG'S POV

"So how's y-your day?" I asked meekly, trying to start a conversation.

"Just a bit out of ordinary." She shrugged. I glanced her way, making eye contact, so I averted my attention to the pavement as we walked our way to the nearest playground.

"U-uhm what do you mean? Did something happened?" I said. Curiosity getting to me, wondering what made her say those words.

"You wouldn't understand really." She replied chuckling. Ironic enough, it was a humorless laugh; almost sarcastic. This triggered something inside me making me want her to tell me even more.

"C'mon! T-Try me!" I smiled. "I'm all ears." I gave her my famous box-like smile. She looked baffled by how persistent I was.

She suddenly stopped walking. Making me look back at her. She had this sad smile on her face; almost as if there are tears forming in her eyes. My heart sank at this.

"I appreciate how you wanted to listen to my problems, but I'm fine keeping it to myself." She spoke softly. My heart ached for her, but I don't want to push her further or she might break down, so I just nodded in understanding. "Thanks." She says.

"No problem." I replied. "Let's just make this day a little happier for you." I smiled sweetly, which she somehow smiled back.

I turn around to continue walking, but not without gesturing her to walk before me, which she did.

Today was the sun is high, but the breeze the touches our skin was cold. I shivered slightly, and looked at the girl beside me who doesn't seemed fazed by the cold weather. "Aren't you cold?" I asked. She side-glanced at me and pursed her lip; shaking her head right after in reply.

"T-That's weird." I said. "You aren't wearing enough to keep you warm today." I added.

"Well I guess, the cold never bothered me anyway." She joked.

"Well alright ELSA." I chuckled. "But, really? I would lend you my coat if you are." I told her, already taking off my coat to place it on her, but to my surprise she avoided me before I was even able to do so. "NO!" She yelled. My eyes widened at this. She bit her lip and spoke with a nervous tone. "Really. I-I'm fine. Don't worry about me too much. Let's just go to the play ground." With that she hastily walked towards our destination making me snap out of the shock. "HEY WAIT UP!"

Not a little later, we arrived at the play ground and saw at least three kids playing together, laughing and giggling. Loriel stopped from her tracks, and almost turn around to walk away, but I stopped her before doing so.

"Hey where a-are you going?" I asked, worried that she might leave.

"I don't think the playground is good for today. Let's just go somewhere else." She said, looking really uncomfortable.

"Why? It's okay they are just kids, besides we can just hang out at the swings if you don't want to play." I told her, almost begging her to stay. She bit her lip and sighed in defeat. I smiled wide and almost did a dance for succeeding, but decided not to.

"Let's go." I grinned and walked toward one of the swing and gestured to theone beside me for her to sit on. She did what I asked and kept quiet.
