"hey hwayoung!"
the small girl turned at the sound of her name being called. she was not too small, but smaller than alot of other people her age. that age being 17. she had long brown hair that she had gotten naturally from her father, and deep brown eyes from her mother. she had freckles and dimples, causing many to be quite envious.
whenever she was called it was for one of two reasons; the first being her friends to catch her attention in the rush of the halls, or it would be a group of the 'populars' picking on her.
she never knew why they picked on her and neither did the other people around the halls who saw the bullying. one thing she knew though, was that the girls that did it had the most intimidating few boys behind them whenever they did bully her.
the schools bad boys. their leader being none other than park seonghwa. a literal angel by the looks, but intimidating as all hell if you got on his bad side. her friends didn't particularly like him, but they were friends with others in the group so they don't really say much.
the rest of the group consisted of kim hongjoong, kang yeosang, jeong yunho, jung wooyoung and choi jungho. hwayoung was friends with song mingi and choi san, the two were sweet, but deadly in the pillow fights they had at sleepovers.
currently the voice that called her name was none other than the schools top bully, heo yoorim. {a/n: my everglow bias sksksk} she was like a goddess, and was originally one of hwayoung's best friends, but combined with her group of goddesses she became a devil in disguise.
she stood in front of the tall girl, preparing herself for whatever she was about to do. not at all surprised when she felt a pile of papers dumped in her arms she looked up at the girl and saw the five girls and six boys behind her. looking into the eyes of her ex-best friend she could see some small hints of guilt.
"I assume you know what to do." it seemed like she was bored too. when they fell out she somehow got into the group she was in now, but wasnt the one to start bullying hwayoung. whenever something like this happened she wanted to be excluded, but she had gotten herself into this mess.
after that they walked off, no one really paying any attention to the girl. the boys didnt look at her, they had mutual friends and didn't want to do anything stupid but felt like they could help too.
she sighed and walked to her locker getting out her spare bag and putting everything in and then leaving the school grounds before her friends could say anything about it. today was a Friday which meant that they all walked home their separate ways, each having different activities to go to.
san and mingi always went to their dance on Fridays whereas hwayoung went to her job at the cafe after dropping the papers at home. she lived alone with her brother lee dongmin and normally at least one of his friends was staying over, if not all of them.
she walked into her usual job at the cafe and was greeted by the guilty face of her coworker and friend yeosang. he pouted and walked towards her with his hand stretched out for her to give his homework back.
normally they were forced into it by the other members, but yeosang and yoorim always got hwayoung to give them theirs back because they didnt want her to do their work. yeosang also gathered the other members and took theirs home apart from the girls. all girls except yoorim expected hwayoung to do their homework so she did only theirs.
