sat around the table outside the boys were having a casual conversation, talking about anything and everything. hwayoung had went to feed her pet bunnies, sanha going with her. the two were laughing at something, unaware of the eyes watching them from the table.

seonghwa watched the two from his peripheral vision, occasionally placing over to get a better view. dongmin noticed this and turned towards the boy, "do you want to go over?" he asked a flustered seonghwa.

"uhh..." not knowing how to reply he looked back over to the pair playing with the bunnies on the grass. dongmin just followed his eyes, "if you want to play with them you can, just go over." he was trying to encourage the boy.

seonghwa just nodded slightly and stood awkwardly from the table and made his way over the grass, heading towards the pair on the grass.

he was first noticed by sanha who waved him over to look at the small bundles of fluff asleep on the ground, one of them having found comfort in his arms. seeing sanha wave hwayoung too looked up, seeing seonghwa walking over and looked back towards the bunnies on the ground.

the three of them watched the small fluff balls waking up and bouncing back around the grass in the garden. sanha walked back towards the table, leaving seonghwa and hwayoung alone.

they sat in silence for a while, the conversation happening at the outdoor table providing background noise as well as the music they had playing. the silence was neither comfortable nor awkward, just quiet.

hwayoung and seonghwa both thinking about different things, although slightly similar. however their thoughts were broken when seonghwa decided to break the silence.

"what can I do?" he questioned quietly, almost to himself. although it was loud enough for hwayoung to hear.

"what for?" she responded, causing seonghwa's eyes to shift from the bunnies to the girl sat beside him. she looked up to meet his eyes.

"to make it up to you." he spoke, staring her dead in the eyes. the sincerity shone through, not only in his words, but also in his eyes. hwayoung could see it, she could see it clearly. although she didnt know if she could trust the male after his last apology.

"take me out." she broke the eye contact looking back towards where the bunnies were laying on the grass.

"on a date or with a gun?" seonghwa joked.

hwayoung smiled slightly, "surprise me." the two giggled slightly before hwayoung continued, "but seriously, take me to the soup cafe near our school and I might forgive you." 

"soup cafe?"

"yeah, they sell other food but I like the soup there." hwayoung replied to a confused seonghwa.

"oh! the one where they have all the plants and stuff inside?" he asked, hoping he was right otherwise he was utterly confused.

"exactly."

the blonde male nodded to himself, figuring out some things in his head before inquiring, "are you free tomorrow?"

"I think so, if I have something planned I don't know about it." 

"you do have something planned." seonghwa spoke. hwayoung raised an eyebrow at this, how would he know if she had something planned?

"what do I have planned?" she questioned.

"a date with me."

later that evening seonghwa and hongjoong had arrived back at their apartment opposite to find six boys stood outside the door.

"where were you guys?" wooyoung asked, hugging san for warmth as the temperature had dropped quite a bit since the bbq earlier.

"I think the bigger question is why are you guys outside our door at..." hongjoong checked his phone quickly, "... almost 11 in the evening?"

"and on a Monday." seonghwa added, moving through them all to open the door.

"I think an even better question is why were you guys out so late on a Monday night?" jongho furthered, leaving the rest of the members (except hongjoong and seonghwa of course) also confused as to why they were out so late.

"we were meeting our neighbours." hongjoong answered the question, following seonghwa into their apartment with the rest of the members following him. "you would think you guys were homeless, do your parents not care?"

the six boys all shook their heads. the older male sighed and attempted to walk away, but before he could was bombarded with questions.

"is their house nice?"

"can we meet them"

"which neighbours, you guys have loads?"

"were there any pretty girls?"

"do you think the earth is flat?"

hongjoong wasnt going to answer any questions apart from the last one, "no, the earth is not flat." meanwhile in the living area, seonghwa had put the news on the TV to block out the headassery coming from the kitchen/entrance area.

'...someone in the local area has been kidnapping small pets from peoples homes, find more on the story online. and now the weather...'

seonghwas ears pricked up at this, what kind of monster would kidnap small animals? he could no longer hear the rest of the news as the headassery had made its way from the kitchen to the living area.

"so if we walked on the sun-"

"you can't walk on the sun."

"but if we did-"

"you can't"

"but iF WE DID, how long do you think it would take to get a tan?"

"less than a second because you would die instantly."

deciding against joining the conversation, seonghwa excused himself to go to bed seeing as the had school in the morning. hongjoong doing the same.

"if you guys are going to sleep here I suggest two of you share the guest room." before he could finish the sentence the younger members had already ran towards said room, some shouting taking place before four of the members walked back out.

seonghwa briefly came out of his room and shouted for yeosang, saying there was room with him if he wanted it. to which he gladly accepted. leaving jongho, mingi and yunho in the living area.

hongjoong offered a place for jongho to sleep, which he also accepted, which meant that yunho and mingi got the living room to themselves.

before long the majority of the members had fell asleep, apart from seonghwa. he could yeosang's soft breathing beside him, signalling he was asleep, although seonghwa just couldnt stop thinking.

he could stop thinking about his date with hwayoung.

I might not be able to update for a while because im going on this summer camp thing? but im back at weekends so there may be updates if I finish chapter quick!
