hwayoung was still stood, wondering where hansol had went. she was enjoying the songs playing, her denim jacket shrugged off her shoulders slightly.

"come quick, there's a fight!" she heard a voice shout. from behind her mingi and san both seemed to run outside quickly, adding to the curiosity that hwayoung was feeling. she followed, a crowd having gathered around the fight.

san and mingi had pushed their way to the centre, as well as a few of their other friends. seeming to try and stop the fight from happening. hwayoung managed to squeeze through the crowd. gasping slightly loud at what she saw before her.

the gasp caught the attention of seonghwa, who seemed to be winning the fight at that moment in time. although he was caught off guard as he looked towards the girl. hansol took the opportunity and fought back. hwayoung leaving the crowd immediately afterwards.

seonghwa kept fighting for a bit longer, letting yunho and mingi pull him away. hansol letting his friends do the same.

seonghwa left quickly. hwayoung had looked upset, scared as she looked towards the two fighting. he needed to find her.

"seonghwa! where are you going?" yunho shouted from behind him, to which he replied simply.

"home."

---

he wasn't going home. he was heading towards hwayoung's apartment. hoping she would be there.

he was aware he may had looked quite beaten up, but he needed to find her. explain what had happened.

"oh? seonghwa, what are you doing here?" dongmin was puzzled as to why the younger male looked the way he did, but decided not to question it.

"is hwayoung here?"

"no, sorry. she left for a party earlier today." soenghwa nodded in understanding. if she hadn't gone home where could she be?

walking in the cold air he spotted her ahead of him. sat on the swings in the park.

he thought she might be here. it was close to their apartments, but far enough away.

hwayoung was playing with her fingers as she looked down towards them, pouting slightly. seonghwa sat himself on the swing next to her, not entirely wanting to speak first. she didn't shift her gaze, knowing who it was after he had sat down.

"why?" she questioned softly.

her voice was quiet, seonghwa noticed. most as if she was scared to ask. as if what she thought of the male had been shattered. he thought of how to start, ease into the conversation. but it was better to be blunt.

"I overheard him saying he thought you were easy." seonghwa said quietly, hwayoung barely hearing what he had said. "and they made a bet." he didn't want to mention that the guy was like that all the time, assuming hwayoung didn't want to know.

"oh my god..."

"hwayoung, im sorry-"

"where is he? I'll go back and fight him myself he deserves it." she stood up, looking determined. seonghwa was slightly shocked. the reaction not being one that he had expected, but it made him smile.

hwayoung turned to look at seonghwa for the first time since he had arrived. noticing the abundance of cuts and bruises that were forming on his face. covering her mouth in shock, she moved closer to the male. who found the change in distance increasing his heartbeat slightly.

"we have to clean those cuts." the girl stated, examining the male's face. who just shrugged it off.

"we don't have to."

"no. we do." she grabbed the male by the hand. "can we go to your apartment? I don't want to go home just yet."

"sure."

---

hwayoung had made seonghwa sit on a chair in the bathroom, close to the first aid so that she would be able to clean his cuts properly.

"you didn't have to you know," seonghwa began, "I could have cleaned the cuts myself."

"but would you?" she questioned, getting what she needed from the first aid kit. she turned, making eye contact with seonghwa. moving closer to dab the cuts on his face with the antiseptic   gel. which made him wince upon contact.

"sorry." hwayoung spoke, concentrating on cleaning the cuts. making sure that they wouldn't get infected. carefully tending to the wounds on the male's face.

seonghwa was watching her as she did so. seeing how her tongue stuck out slightly as she was concentrating, finding it cute. admiring how much she seemed to care for him, despite what had happened earlier in the evening.

he watched her intently, as she changed the cotton pad she was using to a clean one. going back to any other cuts that the male had left on his face.

"do you have them anywhere else?" she asked, breaking seonghwa from his thoughts.

"I dont know."

"lift your shirt."

the command was sudden, but seonghwa stood and lifted his shirt. revealing a few cuts on his stomach he hadn't even noticed. hwayoung tended to them almost immediately, seeming to ignore the fact that seonghwa's abs tensed when he winced towards the feeling.

she finished rather quickly, seonghwa pushing his shirt down. the two making eye contact. both realising how close they actually were in that moment. the atmosphere seemed to shift.

both of them feeling themselves become breathless, heart rates increasing rapidly. seonghwa couldn't help his eyes shifting towards hwayoung's lips. how soft they looked.

he felt himself leaning closer unconsciously, closing the distance between the two of them. until hwayoung could feel seonghwa's breath ghosting her lips-

"seonghwAAAAA" said male stood upright, smiling sheepishly and scratching the back of his neck. he left the bathroom first, following the sound of the voice he recognised to be wooyoung.

they both made their way out into the living area, seeing hongjoong, yeosang, san, yunho and wooyoung stood awaiting them. they seemed surprised at the presence of hwayoung. not expecting her to have been here. curious.

"what were the two of you doing?" hongjoong asked, a smug smile on his face as if he suspected something.

seonghwa's ears tinted red and hwayoung felt a bit flustered. the new arrivals teased them, apart from one. standing quiet with a slight frown on his face, contrasting to his usual loud persona.

hwayoung excused herself, leaving the apartment. she smiled towards wooyoung on the way out, him smiling back.

after calming down slightly, the group of males sat around. chilling out after the party, although one topic wouldn't leave the conversation.

"you're sure that nothing happened between the two of you?" yunho asked, all eyes falling on seonghwa who just nodded.

"I'm sure! nothing happened." he stood up, suddenly tired. "I'm going to bed."

he left the room, leaving the rest of the males conversing about the topic.

"something definitely happened."

"one hundred percent. did you see how they looked?"

"honestly, I don't know what to believe."

"well if seonghwa said nothing happened, nothing happened." wooyoung was the last to speak. closing off the conversation, speaking harsher than he meant to.

"woo? you okay?" yeosang asked, turning to his friend.

"yeah, I'm fine. I'm going home." with that he left the apartment. out into the night.

leaving the males behind him confused.
