America's point of view

I still can't believe Maxon and I are having a baby.

We had an ultrasound last week and it's TWINS!!! I don't know how we are going to manage that, but nonetheless, we are excited.

(I'm keeping it as close to the original books and sequels as possible with the important things)

May had come to the palace to visit us. I can't believe she is sixteen already.

Maxon and I are still trying to come up with plans to get princess Lucy to take thrown in New Asia. The plans are almost complicated though.

I want to go see what Maxon is doing. I think he should be done with meetings for now. When I check the clock, it is lunch time. He and May are probably waiting for me.

I walk to the dining room.

"-but that's where you are wrong!" I hear may shout.

What is going on?

"There is nothing we can do for now! We are trying very hard to tighten up the security!" Maxon says back.

"Well, you need to try harder!! This is my sisters and niece/nephews safety we are talking about!"

"You don't think I know that?!?" He shouts back.

"Well maybe she should leave the palace for a while!" She retorts.

"She will not be leaving and that is final!! It is much safer here than outside the palace walls!" He says with a final tone.

"Is that why your parents are gone?!" She yells.

That's where I have to stop her.

"May!! How could you say something like that!!" I say as I walk in the dining room.

She just sprints from the room.

"Maxon-"

"No it's fine." He interrupts.

"No she shouldn't have said that, I will go talk to her." I say.

"Let's just eat lunch first." He says.

I can tell her talking about his parents hurt him. He was close with his mother and still mourns her. And his father isn't a good subject to ever bring up for either of us. And they were all the family he had.

"Okay, what's for lunch" I ask.

-.-.-.-.-.-.-

I find my way to where May is staying. She hasn't left since her argument with Maxon.

I knock but no answer. She won't want to talk to me, she knows there is a scolding coming.

Hmmm...she'll talk to Aspen though..

I get him to knock on the door and say it's him, and when she opens it I barge into her room.
