6 | first day back

It was the first day back to school after a school break. Chenle was a bit nervous to see Jisung in person again.

He didn't know why he was nervous when he already had talked to Jisung the whole week they were on break.

"I'm so nervous," Chenle said.

"Why? You're gonna see Jisung in person again?" Jaemin said. Chenle nodded his head.

"I've been talking to him this whole past week and I don't know why I'm getting nervous," Chenle said.

"Maybe you're starting to like him?" Jaemin said.

"Oh hell no. I don't fall for someone so easily. He's cute and all but I don't like him romantically yet," Chenle said.

"Exactly. Yet," Jaemin winked at him.

"Oh shut up," Chenle shoved him. Jaemin bumped into someone. Chenle accidentally shoved him a bit hard because Jaemin ended up falling on top of this person. It just so happened to be Jeno.

"Oh hey J-jaemin," Jeno stuttered

"Sorry Jeno. I didn't mean to fall on you. Thank you for catching me as well," Jaemin said.

"N-no problem. Also don't worry," Jeno said as he helped Jaemin stand up.

"No. I'm really sorry for that," Jaemin said extremely concerned.

"It's ok. Don't worry at all," Jeno awkwardly chuckled. Jaemin simply nodded.

"I owe you at least. Let me buy you something. I have to pay you back at least," Jaemin said holding Jeno's shoulders. Jeno just looked at Jaemin with a surprised face and then suddenly blushed.

"I'll think about it. I'll get going now," Jeno said sounding extremely nervous. Jaemin nodded his head and let go of Jeno. Jeno walked away with a big grin on his face.

"Anyways. What were we talking about?" Chenle told Jaemin.

"How you might end up falling for bad boy Jisung," Jaemin smiled. Chenle only rolled his eyes.

"I can't say anything because that's a big possibility," Chenle said.

It was lunch time. Chenle and Jaemin sat down at their regular table.

"Do you think Jisung is going to show up and see you?" Jaemin smiled.

"I don't think so. He was pretty shy with me when we first met in person remember?" Chenle said.

"Ok but you guys have talked a lot of the phone. What difference does that make?" Jaemin asked.

"The difference is that it's in person," Chenle said.

Jeno and Jisung suddenly walk into the cafe. Jisung sees Chenle sitting down at the table sitting with Jaemin. His heart started to beat pretty fast.

"Where are you going? I thought you were gonna go sit with Chenle?" Jeno asked Jisung. He started walking to the farthest table there was.

"I was but I'm being a chicken right now," Jisung said.

"So you're just gonna sit there and just look at Chenle? Unbelievable," Jeno said.

"Oh look Jaemin is staring at you," Jisung told Jeno to annoy him. Jeno quickly looked behind him. He sees Jaemin isn't staring at him. Jisung started to laugh.

"Shut up," Jeno mumbled.

"When are you gonna tell Jaemin you like him? Chenle already knows I like him," Jisung smiled.

"Duh because I told him. If I didn't he still wouldn't have known who you were," Jeno said.

"Shut up. I guess you're right. I couldn't believe he didn't know who I was," Jisung said.

"You guys don't have classes together and you guys never really intereact much. So Chenle does of a right to not know who you were," Jeno said.

"Fine. Fine. You won," Jisung said.

"Alright. While you sit right there. I'm going to go up to Jaemin and Chenle and sit with them unlike you," Jeno said as he stood up and walked over to Jaemin and Chenle.

"Hey guys," Jeno said. He sat down right next to Jaemin.

"Hey Jeno," They said in unison.

"Where's your friend?" Jaemin asked.

"Friend?" Jeno looked at Jaemin confused.

"Jisung. Why'd you leave him alone?" Jaemin asked.

"Oh! He's just being a chicken right now. He doesn't want to come because he'll be shy around Chenle," Jeno said.

"He's still shy?" Chenle asked. Jeno nodded his head.

"Welp. I guess we should get going," Jaemin said as he stood up.

"T-to where," Jeno slightly stuttered.

"Class. I'd rather be there early," Jaemin said.

"I'll come with you guys," Jeno said.

"Cool," Jaemin smiled at Jeno which made him blush but quickly turned his head so Jaemin wouldn't notice that he blushed because of him.

Chenle noticed that Jeno blushed because of Jaemin's smile. Chenle looked at Jeno and winked at him. Jeno suddenly started to freak out. Chenle only burst into laughter.

Jeno looked back at Jisung and signaled him to come over. Jisung hesistated at first but he got up and walked over to them.

"Hey Jeno," Jisung said. Jeno looked at him and only rolled his eyes.

"Say hi to Chenle not me," Jeno whispered.

"H-hey Chenle," Jisung stuttered.

"Hi Jisung," Chenle smiled at him.

"What am I supposed to say?" Jisung whispered yelled at Jeno. Chenle suddenly looked back at Jisung and Jeno.

"I saw you on your phone when you were at the table alone. What were you watching?" Chenle asked.

"I was watching video games and stuff like that," Jisung said awkwardly.

"Cool. I guess," Chenle said clearly losing interest.

"I'm gonna go to class," Chenle said.

"Do you want to hang out after school or something?" Jisung suddenly blurted out.

"Sure," Chenle smiled. That smile he gave Jisung made his heart beat a lot faster than usually.
