13 | jealousy

Chenle was still pretty sad. Jaemin was always there to help him. They were walking to their next class after lunch.

"Hey Jaemin!" A girl said. Jaemin turned around and saw who it was.

"Oh! Hey Koeun," Jaemin said as he smiled at her. Koeun smiled back at him. She then looked at Chenle and her smile disappeared. Chenle noticed and furrowed his eyebrows.

"Why did she stop smiling when she saw me," Chenle said as he looked at Jaemin. They continued walking to class.

"Maybe she's jealous," Jaemin said. Chenle widened his eyes. He completely forgot that Koeun was Jisung's ex.

"She can have him back for all I care," Chenle suddenly said. Jaemin only shrugged.

Chenle and Jaemin were sitting next to each other in class. They were working on somethings before class even started.

"I think Koeun doesn't like me," Chenle suddenly says.

"Why do you think that? She's a pretty nice girl," Jaemin says as he still writes down things on his paper.

"She didn't say hi to me," Chenle said. Jaemin looked up at Chenle.

"Are you serious? Just because of that?" Jaemin said.

"I think she doesn't like me because of Jisung," Chenle said.

"That could be true or you're just over thinking it," Jaemin said as he looked back down at his paper. Chenle only sighed.

He grabbed his phone and went on Instagram. He was looking at photos of his friends and celebrities. Soon Jaemin also went on Instagram.

"Hey did you see what Koeun posted. You follow her right?" Jaemin says.

"Yea. I follow her. Lemme see what she posted," Chenle says. He searches up her name and nothing pops up.

"Did you see it?" Jaemin asks.

"No. I searched up her account name but it doesn't pop up," Chenle says as he showed him his phone.

"That's strange. I have her right here," Jaemin says. Chenle raised an eyebrow. He suddenly makes an 'oh' face.

"She blocked me!" Chenle yells. Jaemin thought about it for a while and then widened his eyes.

"I guess she did block you," Jaemin said. Chenle just banged his head on the table. Jaemin was caught by surprise when Chenle did that.

"Are you ok?" Jaemin says as he looks down at Chenle. Chenle lifts his head up and right when he lifts his head up Koeun walks in the door. She looks at Chenle and makes a disgusted face. Chenle noticed and tears were slowly falling down his face.

"My life is going great Jaemin," Chenle said as he put his head down again. Jaemin didn't know what to do. Chenle was a mess right now.

Koeun looked from a distance and looked at Chenle. She didn't care if he was crying, she was happy as long as she was making his life miserable.

"I hate people so much," Chenle said as he walking. Jaemin didn't understand why Koeun was doing all of these things to Chenle. Making him feel worse.

"People just can be cruel," Jaemin said as they were walking to the train station.

"When can your life be more interesting than mine," Chenle said. Jaemin looked at him and made a face.

"Hey! Don't jinx it," Jaemin said. They were there waiting on the train platform.

"Hey guys!" Jeno said as he walked over to Chenle and Jaemin.

"Oh. Hey Jeno," Jaemin said as he looked at him. Jeno walked over to him and gave him a hug. Jaemin made a confused face. Chenle only smiled at them.

"So Chenle are you feeling better?" Jeno asked. He let's go from the hug but still had his arm around Jaemin. Jaemin looked at him and started to slightly blush.

"I guess but Jaemin and I came to the realization that Choi Koeun doesn't like me because Jisung," Chenle said.

"Oh right. That's Jisung's ex," Jeno said.

"I just think she's jealous of Chenle," Jaemin said.

"Why would she be jealous? She has no right to be jealous," Jeno said.

"What do you mean? She has no right to be jealous?" Chenle asked.

"I would explain here but there's people from our school around us who can hear the story. Also look whose here as well," Jeno said looking over. Chenle turned around and saw Koeun standing there talking to her friends.

"Why is she here!" Chenle said. He pulled the hood up on his hoodie to hide from her.

Fun Fact: This chapter is kinda based off a true story. This girl really doesn't like me because I'm with her ex. haha. sis move on.
