41 | i still care

"Finally!" Chenle said as he turned in his assignment. He walked back to his seat.

"See! No more stress. Are you feeling better at least?" Jeno asked. Chenle slightly nodded his head.

"Still kinda sad that I'm not dating Jisung anymore," Chenle says.

"Do you still like him?" Jeno asks. Chenle nods his head.

"I don't like him though. I still love him," Chenle says.

"Are we still going to the movies?" Jeno asks. Chenle raises an eyebrow.

"We're going to the movies together? I was going with Jaemin though," Chenle said.

"Yea. I'm going with you guys," Jeno said.

"Of course Jaemin is going to invite you," Chenle said.

"Class is dismissed," The teacher said. Chenle and Jeno both got up and walked out of class.

Jaemin was waiting outside their classroom. As soon as they both got out, Jaemin looked at them and smiled.

"Are you guys ready to go to the movies!" Jaemin smiled. Chenle and Jeno both nodded their heads.

"Why isn't Renjun coming?" Chenle asked.

"He asked him to come but he said he was going to be with his mother. We also tried inviting Donghyuck and Mark but they said they're going on a date," Jaemin explained. Chenle made an 'oh' face.

"How are we getting there?" Chenle asked.

"My mom said she could drive us there," Jaemin smiled.

"So she knows about you two and Renjun dating?" Chenle asked. Jaemin nodded his head.

"Yea. She's fine with it. She finds it kinda cool actually," Jaemin laughed.

They all walked out of school. Jaemin immediately spotted Jisung talking to someone. He turned and saw Jaemin walking next to Chenle.

Jisung quick turned his body and hid from Chenle. Jaemin noticed how he quickly turned. He sighed and walked faster with Chenle.

"Why are you dragging me so quickly?" Chenle asked.

"It's chilly outside," Jaemin lied.

They finally arrived at Jaemin's mom's car. Jaemin opened the door. Jeno got in first and then Chenle. While Jaemin sat in the passengers seat next to his mom.

"Jisung is over there," Jeno said. Chenle looked out the window and sees Jisung. His back was facing him and he was looking down at his phone.

"Oh," Chenle said.

While Chenle was looking out the window. Jaemin looked back at Jeno with a mad face.

"What! I'm sorry!" Jeno whispered.

"Anyways! You two say hi to my mother," Jaemin said.

Chenle and Jeno have already meet Jaemin's mother. They both waved at her anyways.

"What movies are you guys going to watch?" Jaemin's mother asked.

"We're not sure. We'll see at the movie theater," Chenle said. Jaemin's mother simply nodded her head.

Jeno noticed Jisung walking towards the car. He pushed Chenle down so he wouldn't have to see Jisung.

Jisung passed by the car and was heading towards the train station. He stopped at the stairs, he looked back one last time.

Jaemin's mother started driving the car. Chenle looked out the window and saw Jisung looking back and then walking away towards the train station.

"Have a fun time at the movies!" Jaemin's mother said.

All three boys got off and walked towards the movie theater.

Jeno couldn't help but text Jisung while Jaemin was buying the tickets.

Jeno:
Dude! Why did you keep looking back!

Jisung:
Because I wanted to see Chenle. What else would I be looking back for.

Jeno:
We didn't want Chenle to get sad or start crying.

Jisung:
Duck
I mean fuck
Autocorrect
I still care about him is all

Jeno:
He still cares about you too as well

Jisung:
If anything happens to Chenle
I'm the first person you should tell

Jeno:
Sure
Alright bye kid

Jeno:
Bye loser

"Who are you texting?" Chenle asked. Jeno quickly changed to Renjun's messages.

"I was texting Renjun. He's telling me about how it's going with his mom," Jeno said. Chenle made an 'oh' face.

"Alright. Let's go get popcorn!" Jaemin said excitedly.

They both followed Jaemin and they bought a large popcorn bucket for all three of them to share.

"Today we are going to have fun! Also Chenle we know you still love Jisung but take your mind off of him for today at least," Jaemin said. Jeno agreed with him.

"Fine," Chenle pouted. Jaemin and Jeno both giggled at him. "Also don't worry about me getting sad about him. As long as I know that he still loves me. I'm fine".

Jeno and Jaemin looked at each other and shrugged. They both look back at Chenle and see him eating the popcorn in his arms.

"Let's enter the movie theater before Chenle eats all the popcorn," Jaemin laughed.

They all headed inside the movie theater and sat down in their seats. Jeno and Jaemin made Chenle sit in between them.

"Why am I sitting in between you guys," Chenle whined.

"Because you are the star of the show today," Jaemin said.

"Also because we didn't want to make you feel like you're third wheeling us," Jeno said while eating some popcorn.

"I was trying to avoid saying that but yes," Jaemin said. He gave Jeno another death glare. Jeno only blew a kiss at him.

"Guys the movie is stating!" Chenle quickly said.

During the movie Chenle couldn't help but think about Jisung a couple of times.

A part of him still knows that Jisung really loves him.
