27 | together or not?

Everyone was at lunch now. They were all sitting there waiting for Jeno.

"I'm assuming Jeno might be with Jisung?" Jaemin said. Chenle just shrugged and sighed.

Jeno suddenly came and walked to their table. He sat down in his usual spot. Next Renjun.

"So where you with Jisung?" Renjun asked. Jeno shook his head.

"I was with the teacher. He was explaining the extra credit to me," Jeno said. Both Renjun and Jaemin widened their heads at Jeno.

"Did I hear right?" Jaemin asked.

"You doing extra credit?" Renjun asked. Jeno just laughed at the two.

"Why does that sound so shocking to you guys," Jeno giggled.

"Looks like we made the bad boy into a good boy," Renjun said to Jaemin. Jaemin nodded his head and they both high fived each other. Jeno just rolled his eyes at them and laughed.

"Is there more important news?" Donghyuck asked.

"Oh right! About Jisung," Jeno said.

"Wait before you can say anything. Is Jisung going to come sit with us like last time or?" Mark asked. Chenle shook his head.

"I'm pretty sure he isn't going to show up," Chenle said.

"Alright continue," Mark said looking over at Jeno.

"There really isn't much to say about him. When I tried to talk to him he wouldn't say anything," Jeno said. Jeno then looked at Chenle. "I think you should you tell them what you told us earlier"

"Jisung has been ignoring me. No text messages, no phone calls and he would ignore me in person whenever he's sober. It feels like we're not dating anymore. I also miss you guys. I kinda miss hanging out with you all," Chenle said.

"So this is what has been stressing you out?" Donghyuck says. Chenle looked at him and raised an eyebrow.

"How'd you figure that I was stressed?" Chenle asked.

"You looked like you were stressing out in math class and I know that Math is your favorite class so I was wondering what you were stressed about," Donghyuck says. Chenle made a 'oh' face.

"Is that it?" Mark asked. Chenle nodded his head. "All I have to tell you is that. You guys need to talk about it"

Chenle nodded his head. He didn't want to think about it to much causing more stress to him.

Chenle was doing his work in class when a text message popped up on his phone. He looked at it and noticed that it was Jisung. He looked at Jeno who was sitting right next to him.

"Answer it," Jeno says. Chenle was getting nervous but he looked at the message.

Jisung:
I think I wanna break up.
Yea... I wanna break up.

Chenle looked at Jeno. He showed Jeno the text message. Jeno read it and then looked at Chenle.

"What are you going to text back with?" Jeno asked. Chenle shrugged. Jeno was kinda of shocked at the way Chenle is reacting right now. "How come you're reacting like that?"

"I felt like I kinda of just expected it. I'm not too surprised," Chenle said looking down at his phone.

"So then text back with 'I agree' or something like that," Jeno said. Chenle nodded his head.

He grabbed his phone and looked at the text message. He took a deep breathe and started typing. A part of him felt hurt and the other side of him felt relieved. He was hurt because he loved Jisung a lot and didn't want to break up with him but the other part of him felt relieved because he didn't have to deal with the stress that Jisung was putting on him.

Chenle:
I agree.

"I didn't expect you right something as simple as that," Jeno said. Chenle just gave him a soft smile.

It was finally time for them to leave class. Jeno and Chenle packed their things and walked out of class.

"Chenle!" Renjun yelled. Chenle looked at him. Renjun was walking towards him. "I know what happened between you and Jisung. I was siting right next to him in class and he told me about it as well"

"I'll tell you guys later. Wanna come by my house later tonight?" Chenle asked.

"Sleepover?" Jeno asked. Chenle nodded his head.

"See you later then," Renjun said. They waved at Chenle and Chenle waved back.

Chenle walked home alone. Renjun, Jeno and Jaemin went out on a date while Mark and Donghyuck went to go out and eat.

Chenle arrived at his house and opened the door to his house. He stepped in to see his mother working on stuff. They both waved at each other. Chenle walked up to his room and sat down at his desk. He pulled out his homework and started working on it.

He was sitting there working until his phone started to ring. He looked at him and noticed that it was Jisung. He raised an eyebrow and answered the call.

"I was joking!" Jisung said the minute they could see each other.

"What?" Chenle asked.

"I was joking. We're still together," Jisung said. Chenle just looked at the screen and didn't say anything.

"So then why did you text me that?" Chenle asked.

"I don't know. I just I couldn't think straight at the moment and that's all I could say," Jisung said. Chenle just nodded his head.

"You can talk to me," Chenle said. Jisung just looked at him and sighed.

"It's gonna be a long story," Jisung said.

"Don't worry. I'll pay attention to everything you say," Chenle said.

"Alright. Where do I begin," Jisung starting saying.
