31 | you're worth more than they are

Chenle and Jaemin walked to their next class together.

"Chenle don't worry. They aren't around to call you names," Jaemin said as they were walking to class together.

They walked into class fairly early. They sat down in their seats.

"You guys left without me. You do realize I'm in the same class as you guys," Renjun said sitting down next Jaemin.

"Sorry about that," Jaemin said squishing Renjun's cheeks.

Chenle was looking down at his phone scrolling through social media. Completely ignoring people around him. Students were walking into class.

"Hey Jaemin!" Koeun says as she walks into class. Areum and Narae were at door, waving goodbye at Koeun.

They're eyes suddenly looked at Chenle's direction. They moved to the side were no one would see them but they were loud enough for someone to hear. Chenle was right. Jaemin heard them say 'ugh idiot!'.

"You heard that right?" Renjun says looking at Jaemin. Jaemin looked at him and nodded his head. He looked over at Chenle and notices that he hasn't said anything. He was still looking down at his phone.

"Chenle," Jaemin shook him. Chenle looked at him.

"What," Chenle saw the look on their faces.

"We heard Areum and Narae saying the thing you said," Jaemin said. Chenle sighed. He looked at Koeun. She was smiling talking to someone. He simply rolled his eyes.

"Does she not understand that Jisung doesn't like her," Chenle mumbled.

Koeun stood up and walked over to their direction.

"Hey Jaemin. How come you never wave at me anymore?" Koeun asked. Jaemin looked up at her shrugged and didn't say anything. "You're cute. Maybe we should start talking and then we could date"

"I'm taken already," Jaemin said. Koeun raised an eyebrow.

"Who are you dating?" Koeun asked.

"Renjun and Jeno. Can you go back to your seat now?" Jaemin said not looking at her. Koeun rolled her eyes. She shot a glare at Chenle but only Renjun noticed and walked back to her seat.

"How come you aren't going to hang out with Mark today?" Chenle asked.

"He has a doctor's appointment," Donghyuck says. They were going to cross the street.

"I think I'm getting bullied," Chenle says looking at Donghyuck.

"Because they're calling you that?" Donghyuck asked. Chenle nodded his head.

"It verbal bullying. Is it not?" Chenle says. Donghyuck shrugged.

"Yea. I mean they've been doing it pretty indirect right now," Donghyuck said but he spoke too soon.

They noticed Areum and Narae on the other side of the street. They both saw Chenle.

"Ugh idiot!" They both said. Except this time it was really direct. Areum pointed at Chenle when she said it. They continued walking, they were laughing and kept looking back at Chenle.

"I'm fighting them," Donghyuck says throwing his bag on the ground. Chenle picked up his bag.

They both crossed the street. Chenle stood there. He looked at Donghyuck running behind Areum and Narae. Donghyuck shoved them. They both looked back at Donghyuck and made a face. Chenle could hear Donghyuck yelling at them.

"You think we're scared of you," Areum said to Donghyuck laughing. Donghyuck didn't care at this point. They were outside of school. He smacked her in the face.

"You bitch," Narae said. She tried to smack Donghyuck but Donghyuck easily grabbed her hand.

"Try me," Donghyuck said looking directly at her face.

Donghyuck was walking back with Chenle at his house. Chenle remained quiet.

"I can't believe you actually fought them," Chenle said looking at him. In the end Donghyuck was the one who won.

"They can talk but they can't fight is their problem," Donghyuck says.

Chenle was working on his homework. He was sitting at the table. He was with Donghyuck, Jaemin and Renjun. Everything was fine.

Chenle suddenly started thinking about Areum and Narae calling them names. He started tearing up, a tear falling down his face. Drops of tears were falling down on his paper. Jaemin looked up and noticed Chenle.

"Chenle," Jaemin said. He quickly got up and went to go and hug Chenle. "Why are you crying?"

"I can't help but think off Areum and Narae calling me names," Chenle cried. Jaemin looked at him. He sat right next to him.

"Chenle. Don't listen to them. I don't want these girls getting to you. You're worth more than they are. They're just 'defending' their friend over some stupid drama. They're trying to cause problems with you. I don't want you listening to them. They're low for calling you names. So ignore them. I want you to be happy," Jaemin said looking at Chenle. Chenle cried even harder and hugged Jaemin.

"Yea. Koeun can't even stand up for herself. She's also low for that. I don't understand why she's trying to cause problems with you over Jisung. They broke up a long time ago," Donghyuck said.

"At the end of the day. Jisung is in love you with you and we can all tell you that he only wants to be with you," Renjun said. Chenle looked up and looked at all of them.

"Thank you guys. You guys mean a lot to me," Chenle said wiping his tears.
